Great Guides and Gorgeous Scenery
Suzette and Warren were excellent guides. They made us feel safe and welcome. The stopped and let us sample some local fruit from a street vendor. It’s a pretty long day and long drive out to Blue Mountain so bring some snacks and arrange to stop for lunch as there is no scheduled lunch stop included (but Suzette would be happy to accommodate!) The plantation tour was great. You start with a lecture about the history of the property and a coffee tasting before you head up to walk the plantation. Keep in mind they don’t process coffee here, this is only the farm from which they grow the Blue Mountain Coffee beans. The views on the drive up the mountain and from the plantation grounds are stunning. There is an optional hike to Catherine’s Peak nearby as well. Thank you Suzette and Warren for your hospitality! We’ll see you again.

Really not worth it
The 1.5 hours at coffee plantation, talk was very informative but walk round was so rushed, we had to run to keep up and didnt really see any of the coffee making process

Amazing experience
What an amazing experience! Our guide Warren was incredible, safe, and knowledgeable. The drive from Runaway Bay to the estate was gorgeous. Warren was SUCH a good driver and has a beautiful singing voice. We had the best time. I'm so glad we booked this tour. You won't regret it.

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Blue Mountain Coffee Tour From Runaway Bay?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Runaway Bay can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?

What are the best things to do in Runaway Bay?
+
On Outty we rank every Runaway Bay experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Sightseeing Tour in and Around Ocho Rios, Blue Hole and Bamboo Rafting Ocho Rios, Jungle River Tubing and Beach Adventure with Transportation. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Runaway Bay?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Runaway Bay?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
