A great day - would recommend

This trip was fantastic. The driver Aris was punctual, and super friendly and helpful. The snorkelling was a real highlight of our trip to Bali, as the water was really clear, and there were heaps of fish. We had a good length of time at both spots. The waterfall was really beautiful, and monkey forest was a big hit with the kids.

Response from the operator: Dear S1710 Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re really happy to hear that you had such a great day exploring Bali with us. It’s great to know you enjoyed the snorkeling, the waterfall, and the Monkey Forest. We’ll also make sure to pass your kind words on to Aris—he’ll be so happy to hear your feedback. Thank you again for choosing us. We hope to welcome you back for another adventure in Bali soon! Best regards, bali Natural Tour

    The best day with Gusti

I booked this tour to do with my sister and our partners and we all had the best day! Everything ran really smoothly and we were not waiting anywhere at all. The snorkelling was the best snorkelling experience that I have ever had! We arrived at the restaurant across from the snorkelling boats and were on a boat within 10 minutes (so make sure you put your sunscreen on before you arrive!) The snorkelling was in a stunning location with lots of beautiful, bright fish that swam right up to you! When we were finished snorkelling we had a quick shower and our lunch was there ready for us. There were no towels for the showers which didn’t bother us but BYO if you’d like to be 100% dry. The money forest was very cool. The staff there were knowledgable and so friendly and attentive. The monkeys were very well behaved. The waterfall was also very impressive. There is a really nice swimming pool overlooking the waterfall so worth bringing your swimmers for this part. Gusti, our guide, was absolutely amazing! He was always there ready for us when we were finished with an activity. He offered interesting information as we drove through local areas, and kindly answered all our questions. There were also a lot of small gestures from him that really made the day - for example, it was a bit of a hike to get back from the waterfall but Gusti was waiting at the top of the steps for us with cold water. We will definitely seek Gusti out again next time we are in Bali as he was knowledgeable, friendly, and so kind. Thank you for the best day Gusti ☺️

    Snorkelly Waterfall Monkeying Around Time.

What a fantastic day! We started off at a reasonable time, 8am. Gave us a chance to have Breakfast before we set off from our hotel in Nusa Dua. It was a bit of a trek to get to the Blue Lagoon from here but well worth it. Our driver Kadek would tell us information about each area we passed through during the journey which made it interesting. We arrived at Padang Bai in about 2 hours as it was a weekend and terribly busy. When we arrived we sat in a nearby restaurant and ordered our lunch prior to setting off on the Snorkelling fun. The boats that you set off in are unusual looking beasts. A bit like a catamaran canoe thing going on. We'd already selected our flippers and life jackets (only a couple of us needed these but I'm not the best swimmer and you get a couple of 2 hour stints swimming). Our "team" consisted of a lovely French family who were incredibly good swimmers, a couple of Italians and the two of us. Getting into the boat was pretty easy. Getting out and into the water you have to put your big boy pants on although Putu (our guide) was right on hand to make sure you were okay. He was fantastic and guided us around following him with a life float ring. After an hour I was well and truly shattered but got to see some incredible fish and beautiful coral. Passing very close over the top of the reef. I sat out of the second hour long stint but the views were fantastic. We set off for the waterfall next. Seriously incredible waterfall. The steps are pretty steep but once you get down them the view is breathtaking. Tiring after the snorkel shenanigans but well worth it. Then we set off for the Ubud Monkey Forest. Kadek waited patiently for us outside while we witnessed such an incredible sight. The site is home to so many macaque monkeys (over a thousand!) and they call the shots here. READ THE RULES before you go in. Don't take food in. This isn't a joke. These guys will find it. A couple of incidents with girls hiding food. One monkey jumped at her and had an unopened bag of crisps that he joyfully sat eating afterwards while she stood shaking with a valuable lesson learnt. DO NOT RUN, a little boy with a father as foolish as himself ran at the monkeys. He soon regretted doing that as a small monkey scared him so much in return. Leave rucksacks in the car if you can. They will unzip your rucksack within moments, they make Oliver Twist's cohorts look like amatuers. It's a fantastic place and an Incredible experience but please respect their beautiful home. It was a very long day as we finally got back around 9 although Kadek our patient driver had another trek back to Ubud to get himself home. Proper 10/10 experience.

Is Blue Lagoon Snorkeling and Lunch - Ubud Monkey Forest - Waterfall worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Jimbaran, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

    +

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Jimbaran can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Jimbaran and add a light layer if any part of the 8.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in Jimbaran?

    +

On Outty we rank every Jimbaran experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Discover The Best of Ubud: All-Inclusive and Private Guided Tour, Ubud: Monkey Forest, Jungle Swing, Rice Terrace and Water Temple, Best of Ubud Private and All-Inclusive 1-Day Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Jimbaran?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Jimbaran?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
