Complete Miscommunication with Pickup Instructions.
The Blur Lagoon is great. I highly recommend it. however paid extra to get a private transfer. what a fiasco. Buses cannot travel in downtown Rejkavik so we thought the private transfer would be good as a taxi could pick us up at the hotel. First, the front desk clerk figured out that we would have to pick up the bus at an area about a 15 minute walk from the hotel. This isn’t so bad if you know about it in advance, however a bum knee made this difficult. We picked 12 noon for the tour, but then realized the day of the excursion that this was the time for the Blue Lagoon not the bus pickup. This did not get explained until the actual tickets for the Blue Lagoon arrived in What’s App, not in email or text as all previous communication had been made. We should have received these tickets 24 hours in advance but received them about 1 hour before after phoning VIATOR. I have never had this problem of miscommunication with VIATOR before. Paying the extra amount was a total waste of money But, the BlueLagoon itself was great.

Worth the visit!
Easy bus pickup and drop off process. The Lagoon was a nice visit where you could spend as much time as you need, with saunas, bar and shower facilities provided. The facial mask station was a treat. Good value for this tour. You only need to bring your bathing suit.
