Bad experience
This was honestly one of the worst trips I’ve ever had. I’ve had much better experiences in my homeland. The pickup time was terrible, and the microphone at the back of the bus wasn’t working, so we couldn’t hear the guide. She knew we couldn’t hear anything but didn’t come to explain what we were missing. The yacht experience was also very disappointing. It was overcrowded, there was no entertainment, and the music and atmosphere were not enjoyable. When we wanted to swim, they had run out of life jackets and floaters, which is unacceptable for a boat trip. We also made a stop that we thought was only for shopping. We didn’t know people were going to see the waterfalls, so we missed them completely because the information wasn’t clearly communicated. The shop staff also provided poor service, except for the lovely lady at reception and one of the younger staff members. Overall, it was a waste of time and money. Very poorly organized, with bad communication and a disappointing experience from start to finish. I would not recommend it.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback. However, we must clarify several points, as your review contains information that does not correspond to the actual itinerary or the services provided. If a guest has questions or has not understood something during the excursion, they are always welcome to ask the guide for additional information during the stops. Our guides are there to assist and clarify any questions. Regarding the high season, Cyprus is extremely busy during the summer months, and popular destinations can naturally be crowded. Guests who prefer fewer people should consider travelling outside the high season. We also strongly disagree with your statement that there were not enough life jackets for everyone. Every passenger on our boat is provided with a life jacket. This is a basic safety requirement, and we do not operate without sufficient safety equipment for all passengers. Therefore, stating that there were not enough life jackets is incorrect and may mislead future guests. There is another important point: your description of the itinerary is also inaccurate. This excursion does not include any stops for shopping, nor does it include a visit to waterfalls. Therefore, we cannot understand how these activities could have been missed during this particular tour. Such information may give future travellers a completely false impression of the excursion. For these reasons, we have serious doubts about the accuracy of this review. Unfortunately, it gives the impression that the reviewer may not have actually participated in the excursion, or that the review may have been written for another reason. We are aware that, unfortunately, commissioned or deliberately misleading reviews can sometimes be used to damage a company's rating. We respect genuine criticism and are always ready to consider constructive feedback. However, we cannot remain silent when a review contains statements about our itinerary and safety arrangements that are simply not true. Our company strongly recommends that future travellers treat reviews of this nature with caution and carefully verify the information before making a decision. Reviews containing inaccurate or misleading information can create a false impression of the excursion and unfairly influence other travellers.

Amazing Blue Lagoon Trip – Great Value & Great Fun! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We had a brilliant day and thought the trip was great value for money. Our guide I forgot his name and driver, Big John, were fantastic. They were funny, friendly and made the whole day really good fun. Big John even became the DJ on the bus, which definitely added to the entertainment! 😂 The Blue Lagoon was absolutely the highlight. The water was beautiful and it was such a lovely experience. My only criticism would be that the boat was very busy as there were people from other Blue Lagoon tours onboard as well. Getting on and off was a bit chaotic, and because lots of people stayed close to the boat, you had to fight your way through a little to actually get into the sea. Once you were in though, it was gorgeous. Afterwards they recommended a fish tavern, which was incredible. Really reasonable prices and the food was AMAZING. We had the garlic prawns, chicken kebab and a burger and couldn’t fault any of it. Definitely take their recommendation! Pick-up and drop-off were both easy, communication was good throughout and everything was well organised. Overall, a really enjoyable day, great value for money and definitely worth doing. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. One thing to be aware of at the Blue Lagoon: the captain tells you that when he sounds the horn, it’s time to get back on the boat. You only have around an hour in the water, so don’t swim or wander too far away and remember which boat you’re on! There are lots of very similar boats there at the same time. We actually watched one poor guy realise his boat was leaving without him because he’d forgotten which one was his! Thankfully the water rescue team spotted him, picked him up and caught up with his boat. 😂 Tip: Take your own goggles as there weren’t enough for everyone, plus plenty of sunblock and a towel. Life jackets are available onboard if you need one.
Response from the operator: Thank you for this brilliant, detailed review! Big John will be thrilled about his new DJ title 😂 Glad the guide, the fish tavern recommendation, and the Blue Lagoon itself all hit the mark. And yes — great tip about remembering your boat, that guy definitely gave everyone a story to tell! Thanks for the honest note on the goggles too, really appreciate the thorough feedback.

Great experience
It was a nice tour, especially the blue lagoon. The restaurant they advertise is a bit on the expensive side, but other than that it was a great experience.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your kind review! We're delighted you enjoyed the Blue Lagoon and had a great experience. The restaurant is only a recommendation for guests who wish to stop there—we never require anyone to visit it. Everyone is free to choose where they'd like to have lunch. We hope to welcome you again on another adventure in Cyprus!

The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Blue Lagoon Cruise, Aphrodite's Grotto & Sea Caves from Paphos: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Paphos.
How much does Blue Lagoon Cruise, Aphrodite's Grotto & Sea Caves from Paphos cost?
+
Prices start at $25 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Paphos usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Blue Lagoon Cruise, Aphrodite's Grotto & Sea Caves from Paphos take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Paphos is not rushed.
Is Blue Lagoon Cruise, Aphrodite's Grotto & Sea Caves from Paphos worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 53 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Paphos, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Blue Lagoon Cruise, Aphrodite's Grotto & Sea Caves from Paphos?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Blue Lagoon Cruise, Aphrodite's Grotto & Sea Caves from Paphos suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Blue Lagoon Cruise, Aphrodite's Grotto & Sea Caves from Paphos?
+
Around 19 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Paphos can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Paphos and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Blue Lagoon Cruise, Aphrodite's Grotto & Sea Caves from Paphos start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Paphos within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Paphos?
+
On Outty we rank every Paphos experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Troodos Mountains Villages: All Inclusive Food & Wine Day Tour, Blue Lagoon Cruise with Sightseeing from Latchi Harbour, Wave Dancer Half Day BBQ Cruise - All Inclusive. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Paphos?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Paphos?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
