A rare experience awaits you at the world famous Dunns River Falls where you climb the falls in a human chain led by experienced Falls Guides. Dunn's River Falls Park is the perfect environment for fun and relaxation for the entire family. There is a delightful new discovery around every corner. Your friendly resident guide will walk you do to the beach where the tour starts. The total climb from the beach to the top is approximately 600ft (183 meters). There are pools along the way where you will stop for photo shoots and frolicking. Allow the cascades to hug you while you make your way up. 3. Columbus Park Museum

The town of Discovery Bay is where you will find Columbus Park. It was originally named Puerto Seco “Dry Harbour” by Christopher Columbus in 1494 when he and his men landed on the Island. It is said that could not find fresh water to drink. They later found fresh water in another area about 5 miles west of the town. The water was so good that they named the location where it was found Rio Bueno “Good River”. However, the town of Puerto Seco was later renamed in 1947 to Discovery Bay because Discovery Bay is where the Spanish, lead by Christopher Columbus landed when they invaded the Island on May 4, 1494. There is a park with several old relics and artifacts on display (Park temporarily closed for renovations). There will be a brief stop to take photos and capture the rich history of this historic town.

      15 minutes here

    4. Runaway Bay

This tour takes you through one of the most popular towns on the Island. Runaway Bay is naturally beautiful and is certainly one of the most scenic areas in Jamaica. It sits between the beautiful, crisp coastline to one side and the lush green mountains to the other. There is much debate as to how the town of Runaway Bay got its name. some people believe it got the name because that is where the last batch of Spanish soldiers ran away from when they were retreating from the attacking British Troops lead by Governor Ysassi right after the 1655 British invasion of Jamaica, while other argue that it was the point from which the Slaves from inland plantations used as an escape route to runaway to Cuba. Get your cameras ready to go as you make your way through this area.

Great tour of the Dunn Falls and Blue Hole

Great tour, especially if you like jump or swinging into the water. Great time, bus ride was a little long. Communication could use improvement since they arrived an hour late (due to an accident) and didnt call until I sent a note. Would still recommend.

A lot of wasted hours & scams built in

Picked us up at 9am, dropped us off after 6pm The day was over 9 hours for no reason. An hour into the drive, before the blue hole, we stopped at 2 stores so people could buy snacks or water for over an hour. After the blue hole, we stopped for lunch at Linda’s which was awful and overpriced (19$ for chicken and rice). The chicken was so dry and full of bones it was inedible. When the waitress asked why we didn’t touch it she said “that’s why we offer you the jerk sauce.” Then off to Dunn Falls and after that we stop to let the local drug dealer board the bus and sell weed and brownies. Half the group were wandering and made us late. The excursion guides at the places were great and kept it moving, but the tour company and the wasted hours/scams were infuriating. People don’t come on excursions to sit on a bus. Unless you’re 20 or looking for drugs, I would definitely use a different company or do a private tour.

Blue Hole plus Secret Falls and Dunns River Falls Combo from Falmouth Hotels: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Falmouth.

How much does Blue Hole plus Secret Falls and Dunns River Falls Combo from Falmouth Hotels cost?

    +

Prices start at $140 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Falmouth usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Blue Hole plus Secret Falls and Dunns River Falls Combo from Falmouth Hotels take?

    +

Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Falmouth is not rushed.

Is Blue Hole plus Secret Falls and Dunns River Falls Combo from Falmouth Hotels worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Falmouth, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Blue Hole plus Secret Falls and Dunns River Falls Combo from Falmouth Hotels?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Blue Hole plus Secret Falls and Dunns River Falls Combo from Falmouth Hotels suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Blue Hole plus Secret Falls and Dunns River Falls Combo from Falmouth Hotels?

    +

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Falmouth can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Falmouth and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Blue Hole plus Secret Falls and Dunns River Falls Combo from Falmouth Hotels start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Falmouth within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Falmouth?

    +

On Outty we rank every Falmouth experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include ATV Jungle Safari Tour from Montego Bay, Jamaica Culture Tour: Culinary, Cultural, History and Dance, Jamaica Martha Brae Bamboo Rafting with Bus Transportation. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Falmouth?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Falmouth?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
