A good blend of island charm, beauty, and timing
Our time at Dunns River Falls and Blue Hole was spectacular! Ainsworth from Taylor Jamacia Tours met us promptly at the agreed upon pick-up time and gave us a cheerful and informative introduction to the day and to Ocho Rios. We went to Dunns River Falls first. As we went on a weekday, there were no crowds and we were climbing the falls within 30 minutes of arrival as the guides there like to have a minimum number of folks in a group before starting. The climb was the right blend of strenuous and fun for me. The guides were attentive to our safety and comfort, not mention had great ideas for photo ops! We headed over to Blue Hole once we finished at Dunns River. Ainsworth continued to entertain and educate us about life in Ocho Rios and Jamaica at large. He connected us with our guide for Blue Hole, a nimble and clever young man who made sure we enjoyed every moment of our climb. The scenery was stunning! The water was cool but so refreshing. Diving into the larger pool at the end was quite the thrill! After our climb and leisurely swim, Ainsworth took us to a place for for lunch that hit the spot. We enjoyed his company and attentiveness so much that we asked if he could help us with another excursion the following day. His partner, Melissa, picked us up on day two and she was equally as charming and helpful. The day ended with another fabulous recommendation for lunch at the Jerk Hut. Words fail me to describe the level of contentment I felt after that meal! Overall, I would highly recommend this excursion with Taylor Jamaica Tours. The cost was reasonable and included admission to both waterfalls. The pacing of the day was just right, taking about a little under 6 hours for both attractions and lunch. Both Melissa and Ainsworth were professional, personable, and kind, allowing us to move at our own pace. It was truly a pleasure!

Amazing Private Tour to Two Spectacular Locations
My husband and I had a wonderful experience in Ocho Rios. The private tour provided by Ainsworth Taylor was absolutely amazing. There was good communication about pickup, and then we were off in our private transportation. We visited the Dunns River Falls and had a great time climbing the falls. The highlight of the trip was the Island Gully Falls and Blue Hole. Our guide, Kevin, was THE BEST! We had a blast climbing the falls and jumping off the cliffs, and he made sure we were perfectly safe. Our photographer, Rasta, was also great and got some awesome action shots of our adventure. Having private transportation from the ship to the two excursion spots allowed us to go at our own pace and not have to rush or wait around at any time. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Ocho Rios!
Response from the operator: Thank you Rachael! Much appreciated.

Why this scores 57
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Blue Hole and Dunn's River Falls with Transportation: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Trelawny.
How much does Blue Hole and Dunn's River Falls with Transportation cost?
+
Prices start at $135 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Trelawny usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Blue Hole and Dunn's River Falls with Transportation take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Trelawny is not rushed.
Is Blue Hole and Dunn's River Falls with Transportation worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 2 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Trelawny, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Blue Hole and Dunn's River Falls with Transportation?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Blue Hole and Dunn's River Falls with Transportation suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Blue Hole and Dunn's River Falls with Transportation?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Trelawny can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Trelawny and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Blue Hole and Dunn's River Falls with Transportation start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Trelawny within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Trelawny?
+
On Outty we rank every Trelawny experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Authentic Down-to-Earth Half Day Tour in Montego Bay, Negril Seven Miles Beach, Snorkeling, Boat Ride, Ricks Cafe Combo, Private Montego Bay Customized Tour with Pickup and Guide. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Trelawny?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Trelawny?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
