Fantastic cooking class
As per all other reviews , this was a highly enjoyable morning activity from 9.30 to about 2pm by the time you had eaten the food and visited the shop etc. Visited a local market to buy some ingredients and for explanation on some of the food items we would be using. The chef cooked each dish and then we went to our own station to cook ourselves with their help if required. Before watching the next demonstration, it was a very friendly and easy to follow. We cooked a main dish. Soup, salad and a stir fry that were all put in numbered bowls for us to eat at the end. Given written instructions, cert, apron, a packet mix to make one of the dishes in a bag. This restaurant is very near to the old town.
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed and thoughtful review. We’re delighted to hear that you found the morning activity highly enjoyable and well organized from start to finish. Thank you for noting our convenient location near the Old Town. We truly appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you again in the future. Best Regards, Oh-Hoo Team

A can't miss for anyone who loves to cook
This was an absolutely amazing experience from beginning to end. We arrived early and were able to take photos and view the restaurant and grounds while they were empty. Our instructor met us and explained what we would be doing once the other attendees arrived. She took us to the local market and helped us to identify many of the ingredients we would be using in the meals we made. She also answered all of the questions we had about different items and customs for the area. Once back at the restaurant we watched her make each dish before going to the kitchen to recreate it ourselves. She was very helpful with anyone who needed assistance. In all we made four dishes each and after the class they were served to us in the restaurant. For those who don't like alot of spice I recommend that you go easy on the type and amount of peppers you use. Remember it's Thai hot. After we finished lunch we stopped in the shop at the restaurant and bought products to take home. They have their own line of ingredients and sauces. This was not what I would consider a beginner cooking class but I highly recommend trying it. It was by far one of the best experiences for me personally. If you enjoy cooking this tour shouldn't be missed!
Response from the operator: Thank youfor sharing such a detailed and wonderful review. We’re truly delighted to hear that your experience was amazing from beginning to end and that you enjoyed having time to explore the restaurant and grounds before the class began. We’re also pleased that you enjoyed the cooking demonstrations, the hands-on preparation of the dishes, and the opportunity to enjoy everything you cooked afterward in the restaurant. Thank you for your helpful tip regarding spice levels, Thai flavors can certainly be intense. We truly appreciate your high recommendation and kind words, and we’re honored to know this was one of your best personal experiences. We hope to welcome you again for another memorable culinary adventure. Best Regards, Oh-Hoo Team

Why this scores 67
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Blue Elephant Thai Cooking Class with Market Tour in Phuket: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Phuket.
How much does Blue Elephant Thai Cooking Class with Market Tour in Phuket cost?
+
Prices start at $3124 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Phuket usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Blue Elephant Thai Cooking Class with Market Tour in Phuket take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Phuket is not rushed.
Is Blue Elephant Thai Cooking Class with Market Tour in Phuket worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 30 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Phuket, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Blue Elephant Thai Cooking Class with Market Tour in Phuket?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Blue Elephant Thai Cooking Class with Market Tour in Phuket suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 6. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 4-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Blue Elephant Thai Cooking Class with Market Tour in Phuket?
+
Around 11 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Phuket can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Phuket and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Blue Elephant Thai Cooking Class with Market Tour in Phuket start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Phuket within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Phuket?
+
On Outty we rank every Phuket experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Southern Flavors Phuket Food Tour with 15+ Tastings, James Bond Island by Big Boat w/ Sea Cave Canoeing and Lunch, Phang Nga Bay Canoeing & James Bond Island Tour from Phuket. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Phuket?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Phuket?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
