Kolocep Island
Just off the coast near Dubrovnik lies a spectacular trio of sea caves: the Green Cave, the Purple Cave, and the mysterious Canyon Cave — all nestled in the same breathtaking spot. The Green Cave is named for the magical emerald light that fills the water as the sun filters through. Nearby, the Purple Cave offers a deeper, more dramatic hue, while the Canyon Cave, narrow and wild, feels like nature’s secret passage carved into the rock. Swim, snorkel, or simply float and take in the beauty around you. This stop is a peaceful escape into the raw charm of the Adriatic — perfect for adventurers, dreamers, and sea lovers alike.

Sunj Beach
Our next stop is island Lopud — an oasis of peace, natural beauty, and timeless charm. Known for its sandy shores, hidden forest paths, olive groves, and sun-kissed vineyards, Lopud is a place where time slows down. A must-see on the island is the famous Šunj Beach, where we’ll drop you off for an unforgettable shore experience. This stunning sandy lagoon stretches far into the sea with shallow, warm waters that shift from emerald green to deep Adriatic blue. Perfect for a relaxing swim, sunbathing, or simply sipping a cool drink in one of the beach bars nearby. Whether you're floating in the calm sea or lounging in the shade with a bite to eat, Šunj Beach is the kind of place you’ll never want to leave.

Do the Blue Caves tour...
Do the Blue Caves tour earlier in the day before the tide rises. It was a bit rough at our first stop. The excursion was a blast and I definitely recommend it! It was an adventure for our group for sure!

It was an amazing experience. It was even better than promised because our Captain Marin was always on top of everything. He got us every place in way that we missed the crowd and were able to enjoy the places.

Marin was awesome! Super kind, informative, accommodating and created a really fun time. He made an effort to keep our tour ahead of the other tours to give us the best best chance of beating the crowds. Highly recommend booking with him!

Why this scores 76
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Blue Cave and Green Caves Boat Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Dubrovnik.
How much does Blue Cave and Green Caves Boat Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $65 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Dubrovnik usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Blue Cave and Green Caves Boat Tour take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Dubrovnik is not rushed.
Is Blue Cave and Green Caves Boat Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 76 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 43 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Dubrovnik, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Blue Cave and Green Caves Boat Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Blue Cave and Green Caves Boat Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Blue Cave and Green Caves Boat Tour?
+
Around 15 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Dubrovnik can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Dubrovnik and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Blue Cave and Green Caves Boat Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Dubrovnik within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Dubrovnik?
+
On Outty we rank every Dubrovnik experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Dubrovnik: Game of Thrones Walking Tour, Panorama Zipline Experience in Dubrovnik, Dubrovnik: 7 Caves & Blue Cave Speedboat Tour (4h). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Dubrovnik?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Dubrovnik?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
