    Berlin Musical

Great musical to attend in Berlin !

Response from the operator: My name is Berndt Schmidt, and I am the General Director of the Palast. I would like to thank you sincerely for your visit to our dream factory, as well as for your excellent review and recommendation. It is wonderful to read that our BLINDED by DELIGHT Grand Show delighted you and that we were able to provide you with such a thoroughly enjoyable evening. Please allow me to add a small note for other readers: At the Palast, we do not present musicals, but rather Grand Shows—large-scale stage entertainment in the tradition of revue productions, similar to those performed in Las Vegas. But this is just a small clarification. As mentioned, I thank you very much for your visit and for your excellent review.

    A dazzling show!

My husband and I both loved this show - the singing, dancing, and acrobatic performances were top rate. And it’s true - you don’t need to speak any German to enjoy the performance!

    Mesmerising fab show

This is an excellent entertainment. We are englush spoken and mist of text is in German but you won't be disappointed. The performances are spellbinding. Fab singing. Crazy bike riding and high rise performances. If you are in berlin do not miss this show.

Response from the operator: My name is Berndt Schmidt, I am the general director of the Palast and I would like to thank you very much for your visit, your excellent review and your recommendation. It is great to read, that we could enthuse you completely and you had a great time. For the whole staff and me it is the best thing to know, that we managed to excite our audience with our Grand Show.

    Not for tourists

Unfortunately, Blinded by Delight was a disappointing experience. As a tourist, I found it difficult to follow because the show was entirely in German, which was not made sufficiently clear beforehand. The atmosphere was also far from enjoyable. The music was unnecessarily loud, and the audience was filled with teenagers who talked throughout much of the performance, making it hard to stay engaged. Considering the ticket price, I expected a much higher standard. While there were some good moments, parts of the dancing looked amateur and lacked the professionalism I was hoping for. Overall, I did not feel the show was worth the money. If you're deciding between productions, I would recommend Alizé by Cirque du Soleil instead, which offers a far more polished and entertaining experience.

Response from the operator: My name is Berndt Schmidt, I am the General Director of the Palast. Thank you for visiting and for taking the time to share your impressions, even though the evening clearly did not meet your expectations. You are right that a significant part of the songs is performed in German. The production is created and presented in Berlin and reflects its cultural context. At the same time, BLINDED by DELIGHT is not a traditional musical but a modern revue, where dance, music, acrobatics and visual imagery play the central role. This is also why many international guests enjoy the show without speaking German. For those who would like additional context, we provide English translations of the song lyrics online. We take the issue of loudness very seriously. We use an immersive sound system while always complying with all applicable legal requirements. I am sorry that fellow audience members affected your enjoyment of the evening. Unfortunately, audience behaviour is one of the few aspects of a live performance that we cannot fully control. For context, the current production is the most successful in the history of our venue, with occupancy currently around 95%, more than 450,000 tickets sold, regular standing ovations and over 95% positive reviews. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

BLINDED by DELIGHT Grand Show: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Berlin.

How much does BLINDED by DELIGHT Grand Show cost?

    +

Prices start at $53 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Berlin usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does BLINDED by DELIGHT Grand Show take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Berlin is not rushed.

Is BLINDED by DELIGHT Grand Show worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 79 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 329 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Berlin, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule BLINDED by DELIGHT Grand Show?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is BLINDED by DELIGHT Grand Show suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book BLINDED by DELIGHT Grand Show?

    +

Around 115 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Berlin can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Berlin and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does BLINDED by DELIGHT Grand Show start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Berlin within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Berlin?

    +

On Outty we rank every Berlin experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Berlin's Best: 2 Hour Walking Tour Third Reich and the Cold War, Communist East Berlin and Berlin Wall Small Group Walking Tour, Sachsenhausen concentration camp.. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Berlin?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Berlin?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
