Captain was super!!
4 of us went out on Saturday with Captain Richard a beautiful day, and we all caught a full 4 hr, and we caught loads!! The captain was knowledgeable, friendly, and great company, and then he gutted the fish and even gave us a few recipe tips [we just wished he could have come back with us to cook them]. An excellent time spent and a definite MUST DO!!
Response from the operator: That sounds like the full package—great fishing, great company, and even a few chef tips thrown in! 😄 Captain Richard will love hearing how much you enjoyed the trip. We might have to add “onboard chef” to his job title next time. Hope to see you back out again soon 🎣

educational night fishing trip
We took a 6-hour trip on Biscayne Bay; lots of tarpon fish were caught, and it was great to enjoy a boat trip. There were my wife and I plus one other man (who was fishing); we were amazed at the amount of information we were given by our captain, Brett. We were told about local places to visit and all kinds of local knowledge. We were also told about types of fish in the area, why they came, how they were caught, and their values. I asked about the age. and construction of the boat. which I was told. Just hope I didn't bore the captain. All in all, an amazing trip. As you can see, we can recommend you try it; you must.
Response from the operator: Sounds like you got the full experience—fishing, sightseeing, and a masterclass all in one! Captain Brett will be glad you enjoyed all the insight (and don’t worry, we think he enjoys the questions 😄). Tarpon action and local knowledge is a pretty great combo. Thanks for the recommendation—we’d love to have you back out again 🎣

Enjoy the night with fishing.
Been after a night fishing trip for ages. Booked and paid online, so all we had to do was turn up in time! We were staying at Biscayne Bay, so we left very early. We all caught various fish: snook, jack crevalle, and tarpon, mine being the biggest while the little one managed to catch the most! We came back with all happy faces and a good catch. What more do you need?? BIG thanks to Richard, a brilliant activity!!
Response from the operator: That’s what a night trip is all about—action, a little friendly competition, and big smiles all around! 😄 Captain Richard will be glad he made it such a memorable experience. Sounds like everyone had their moment out there. Thanks for the kind words—we’d love to have you back again 🎣

fishing trip out with Brett
Had an amazing time on a 4 hr barracuda fishing trip with Captain Brett, 2 kids, & 3 adults; none of us had any fishing experience, & we ended up catching 28 barracuda & snook fish, which were delicious. The kids want to go on the longer one next time! Thanks, Brett!
Response from the operator: That’s how you start—no experience and straight into 28 fish, not bad at all! 😄 Captain Brett will love hearing the kids are already planning the longer trip. Sounds like a full-on action day from start to finish. We’ll be ready for round two 🎣

day fishing....
Our family trip, so we booked a long trip, 8 hr. Fully time was great fun with Captain Richard. We did catch snook, jack crevalle & tarpon (35+); we tried every moment. Personally having hired many boats and been on many boat trips, I'd say these are the people you need to be going with, and I can't thank them enough for our experience. If you're in Biscayne Bay, it must be a trip out.
Response from the operator: That sounds like a full-on day—8 hours of action and 35+ fish is no small feat! Captain Richard will be glad he made every moment count for your family. High praise from someone with plenty of boating experience too—that means a lot. Thanks for the recommendation, and we’d love to have you back out again 🎣

Why this scores 57
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Biscayne Bay Night Fishing Charters: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Miami.
How much does Biscayne Bay Night Fishing Charters cost?
+
Prices start at $800 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Miami usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Biscayne Bay Night Fishing Charters take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Miami is not rushed.
Is Biscayne Bay Night Fishing Charters worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 14 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Miami, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Biscayne Bay Night Fishing Charters?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Biscayne Bay Night Fishing Charters suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Biscayne Bay Night Fishing Charters?
+
Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Miami can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Miami and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Biscayne Bay Night Fishing Charters start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Miami within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Miami?
+
Miami splits between the water and the neighbourhoods. Biscayne Bay boat tours, Key Biscayne snorkelling and Everglades airboats cover the first, while Wynwood mural walks, Little Havana food crawls and South Beach deco tours cover the second. We rank Everglades operators carefully: many depart from Miami but the good ones run their own boats rather than reselling seats. On Outty we rank every Miami experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 2 hrs Miami Private Boat with Cooler, Ice, Bluetooth Stereo, Little Havana Food and Walking Tour in Miami, Miami: 2 Hour Private Yacht Cruise. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Miami?
+
November to April, dry season, before hurricane and humidity months. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Miami?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
