    STRICTLY THE BEST TAXI

Javan of "strictly the best taxi" is STRICTLY THE BEST! he was informative and fun he was culturally knowledgeable and compassionate about it. He taught us a great deal in the short time that we were his fare. He was also sympathetic . we didnt have entrance fee for the park that he took us. he fronted us the money and trusted that we return it when we arrived at our accommodations. so unusual for a tour company. what a beautiful person this guy is. i recommend him for all of your island adventures. however, save a week for us for when we return to the island!

    Great Island Experience

Great Island Experience. Not only did we get to see some of the resident birds but we also got a bit of history of the reserve and island. Be sure to bring sturdy walking shoes as you will be doing a light hike. Highly recommend the experience

    Fantastic

Ken was fantastic, very patient and showed us as much as possible. He also had a great sense of humour and took his time. Ken is a very good asset and would highly recommend him.

If you like being charged $130 for trip you can't go on - definitely book!

I booked this tour, then called when I saw the trail was closed - they told me to cancel as it was indeed closed, so I did, then they disputed the cancellation when I cancelled the charge on my card - they had to go out of their way to dispute the charge - really unimpressive - more so since they knew the trail was closed yet kept the booking options open, and then literally told me to cancel, and then disputed me not paying for it. So I had to pay for the trip even though we could not go. Book through your hotel, it's cheaper, and you'll actually be able to go. - avoid this company.

Response from the operator: This is what is disappointing that when people are writing reviews to the wrong company. If this birdwatching tour was booked through our tour company it can only be done through tripadvisor and if a booking was cancelled viator has their strong policy about cancellation and if refunds are disputed we have to give proof of tour was operated. All birdwatching tour we had was cancelled and refunded. We have never had anyone complained about not receiving their refund when they cancel. I can say everyone knows tripadvisor once you cancel you do not have to go and cancel your charge on your card because you do get a refund strait from tripadvisor. This is the first person who is saying that they have to cancel the charge on their card. Everything that was said in this review is very fishy and this looks like either a review made in the wrong place or a malicious review.

    Hike but no birds

We saw very few birds on the Millet hike so you must be sure you are booking the early morning bird watching tour not the later hike. However we saw many birds at our hotel (Regency La Toc). Storming Norman made things right by us and he is a gentleman and very professional.

Response from the operator: This is one of the main reasons we request that clients leave early for bird watching but wanted to do their own time. Bird watching at 10am is a bad idea. Bird watching should be done very early. Like the saying says the early bird catches the worm.

Bird Watching Tour in St Lucia: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Choc.

How much does Bird Watching Tour in St Lucia cost?

    +

Prices start at $115 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Choc usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Bird Watching Tour in St Lucia take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Choc is not rushed.

Is Bird Watching Tour in St Lucia worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 51 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.9/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Choc, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Bird Watching Tour in St Lucia?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Bird Watching Tour in St Lucia suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Bird Watching Tour in St Lucia?

    +

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Choc can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Choc and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Bird Watching Tour in St Lucia start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Choc within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Choc?

    +

On Outty we rank every Choc experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Waterfall and Beach Safari in Santa Lucia, St Lucia Catamaran Day Sailing and Sightseeing Tour, Soufriere Island Delight. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Choc?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Choc?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
