We will be back!!!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 The Party Boat and Luminous Lagoon excursion with MXP Tours was one of the highlights of our Jamaica trip! The entire experience was well organized, fun, and unforgettable. The party boat had great music, an amazing atmosphere, and kept everyone entertained. Visiting the Luminous Lagoon afterward was absolutely breathtaking, it was such a unique experience seeing the water glow at night. The staff was friendly, professional, and made sure everyone had a great time. I highly recommend this excursion to anyone visiting Jamaica. It’s a must-do experience! 🌊✨🎉

AMAZING Experience!!
This was such a cool experience! It was beautiful and so much fun. The pictures do not do this justice. The blue color is so vibrant. I would suggest wearing swim shoes if you are taller than 5’3 because the bottom of the water is muddy and feels weird lol. The tour guides were informative and funny. Shout out to Oats 💕💕. If you’re thinking about it, JUST DO IT!!

Too much waiting around time, not worth $
Too much waiting around, got picked up 6:30, got there 6:50, especially with driver( major tailgate) , didn't get offered rum punch until almost hour later, then finally was taken out to the bay. Was not organized, people were falling asleep waiting so long. The luminous bay was awesome, but would not recommend.

A huge waste of time.
Absolutely NOT worth it. We were picked up at 4:30 to take a 1 hr 20 minute bus ride to the location arriving g close to 6:00 PM. We then sat in a holding area until 7:30 for it to become dark. They took us on a 5 minute bus ride to the area and we spent 15 minutes in the water and took a 1 hr 20 minute ride back to the hotel. You can look at photos online and see all you need to. Don’t waste time and money on it.
Response from the operator: Good morning karen, thank you for sharing your insight on this experience however you were not my customer I don’t know why you would have wrote a review on our page, we do not pickup guest at 4:30 for any of our luminous experiences that would have been way too early for this tour for sure considering the time it takes to get dark. Nevertheless we do apologies your experience did not meet expectations. Our pickup time with our company is usually rescheduled based on where yours staying.

Why this scores 59
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Bioluminescent Lagoon Tour: Night Swimming and Liming in Jamaica: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Montego Bay.
How much does Bioluminescent Lagoon Tour: Night Swimming and Liming in Jamaica cost?
+
Prices start at $80 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Montego Bay usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Bioluminescent Lagoon Tour: Night Swimming and Liming in Jamaica take?
+
Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Montego Bay is not rushed.
Is Bioluminescent Lagoon Tour: Night Swimming and Liming in Jamaica worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 63 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Montego Bay, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Bioluminescent Lagoon Tour: Night Swimming and Liming in Jamaica?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Bioluminescent Lagoon Tour: Night Swimming and Liming in Jamaica suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Bioluminescent Lagoon Tour: Night Swimming and Liming in Jamaica?
+
Around 22 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Montego Bay can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Montego Bay and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Bioluminescent Lagoon Tour: Night Swimming and Liming in Jamaica start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Montego Bay within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Montego Bay?
+
On Outty we rank every Montego Bay experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Montego Bay Airport Transfer to Negril, Blue Hole and Dunn's River Falls Private Tour from Montego Bay, Appleton Estate Admission Ticket & Distillery Tour with Tastings. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Montego Bay?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Montego Bay?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
