About this experience
Florida-Adventurer is the only company to offer a group rafting bioluminescent option. Each raft can hold up to 10 of your closest family or friends. This means no one is left behind! Fun for all ages! There’s room for all to experience the wonder of bioluminescence. We are also less than 3 miles from the SpaceX launch pads. It is not uncommon to watch a rocket launch at night from the water, less than 3 miles from the famous Kennedy Space Center launch pads 39A and 39B! So while you watch the magnificent blues of the water that surrounds you, you might even watch the sky light up from a launch. With or without a launch, the surrounding nature, bioluminescence, and stars make for a really special adventure.

kayaked around and he talked about what makes the bioluminescents and cool things.
The director was pretty funny and realistic he wasn't trying to put on a front, he was honest and made it sound like we were talking to another person.

We had a great time! My...
We had a great time! My husband and I have done this several times with many different guides, but we wanted our family to have this experience. They were all blown away by the magic they found in their own backyard! Our guide was knowledgeable and we learned something new. 10 stars!!

Super fun late night bioluminescence group tour
Came here with a group of friends for a night bioluminescence group rafting tour. Terence, our tour guide aka captain was the best. He was very informative and super friendly! He showed us around the refuge and was able to spot a lot of wildlife during the late hours. I will definitely come back and do the tour again with Terence! I would say we got our money worth!

The gift of glow giggling!
If laughter and glowing sea creatures could cure all life’s problems, The Florida Adventurer would be my new therapist. We did the bioluminescent kayak tour, and let me tell you — it poured so hard we could’ve used the kayaks as bathtubs. 🌧️ But did that stop us? Absolutely not! We were out there giggling like kids, jiggling cone jellies until they lit up like tiny disco balls, while glowing plankton sparkled all around us like Mother Nature’s rave. Our guide Brian deserves a comedy special — not only did he keep us laughing through the downpour, but he somehow made science sound like a stand-up routine. The man knows his plankton! 🤣 By the end of the night, we were drenched, glowing, and happier than we’d been in weeks. 10/10 would recommend — it’s cheaper than therapy, wetter than church camp, and way more magical. ✨🪼 Go. Even if it rains. Especially if it rains.

Why this scores 54
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Bioluminescence Rafting Tour - Wildlife Refuge (Titusville): questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cocoa Beach.
How much does Bioluminescence Rafting Tour - Wildlife Refuge (Titusville) cost?
+
Prices start at $60 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cocoa Beach usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Bioluminescence Rafting Tour - Wildlife Refuge (Titusville) take?
+
Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cocoa Beach is not rushed.
Is Bioluminescence Rafting Tour - Wildlife Refuge (Titusville) worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 17 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cocoa Beach, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Bioluminescence Rafting Tour - Wildlife Refuge (Titusville)?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Bioluminescence Rafting Tour - Wildlife Refuge (Titusville) suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Bioluminescence Rafting Tour - Wildlife Refuge (Titusville)?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cocoa Beach can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cocoa Beach and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Bioluminescence Rafting Tour - Wildlife Refuge (Titusville) start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cocoa Beach within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cocoa Beach?
+
Cocoa Beach sells surf lessons, airboat rides on the St Johns, bioluminescent kayak paddles in summer and rocket launch viewing cruises, with Kennedy Space Center a short drive north. On Outty we rank every Cocoa Beach experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Mangrove Tunnels, Dolphins, Manatee Tour #1 Rated in Cocoa Beach, Wizard of OZ Museum tour, Cocoa Beach Dolphin and Wildlife Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cocoa Beach?
+
March to May and September to November; check launch schedules before booking. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cocoa Beach?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
