About this experience

Bilbao is a changing city, an example of the "Industrial Revolution" that made the city change and expanded it, turning Bilbao into the most important industrial centers in Spain. The 20th century is the time for another new change, the "Urban Revolution", which transforms the city with a modern face and services, and the 21st century is the time for the "Knowledge Revolution" that will place Bilbao among the cities more important in Europe. The tour begins with the expansion of Bilbao, or more specifically the first "Ensanche", the first zone of growth on the other side of the river at the time when the city was involved in full industrialization, becoming a beautiful bourgeois neighborhood at the end of the 19th century. Subsequently completed with the last change, Bilbao has chosen "Pritzker Prize" architects such as Gehry, Isozaki, Foster, among other internationals. The visit ends in the most Bilbao style. The pintxo is the 5th essence, a bite-sized aperitif.

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
