An excellent adventure in Hiroshima with BMX Bab.

Bab is a BMX aficionado and he has a BMX shop in the heart of Hiroshima. Hanging out with him for the day doesn’t feel like being on a tour. It feels like hanging out with a new mate. He brought us for lunch to his mate’s place for the Hiroshima specialty, okonomiyaki. His friend is a skater who runs a very cool and non-touristy hole in the wall and he makes the most unbelievably delicious okonomiyaki. Riding around Hiroshima’s sites - the A-bomb dome, the peace park, Hiroshima Castle, along the river, was peaceful and moving and fun all at once. Thanks, Bab, for an excellent adventure.

Response from the operator: Thank you for joining us on the tour! At the Atomic Bomb Dome, I felt strongly that you were interested. I hope you will think about world peace again through this tour. It was fun to be able to tour with such a wonderful family! I am looking forward to your continued success. Cheers! BAB

Great morning riding in Hiroshima

Me, my husband and 19 year old daughter really enjoyed our morning bike tour with Bab on a hot June day. The tour covered the atomic bomb dome, Hiroshima Castle, Shukkeien Garden, Peace Park and included a fabulous Okinomiyaki lunch at a local restaurant. The bikes were comfortable, the route was easy and took us through many areas of the city. Bab is a great guide and very friendly.

Response from the operator: Thank you for joining our tour! It was my first tour, so I was a little nervous, but I'm glad you enjoyed it. It was a very good tour for me and an unforgettable day. Thank you to the wonderful family! BAB

Bike Tour with Lunch: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Hiroshima.

How much does Bike Tour with Lunch cost?

+

Prices start at $14000 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Hiroshima usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Bike Tour with Lunch take?

+

Plan for about 3.8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Hiroshima is not rushed.

Is Bike Tour with Lunch worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 2 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Hiroshima, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Bike Tour with Lunch?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Bike Tour with Lunch suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 10. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 3.8-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Bike Tour with Lunch?

+

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Hiroshima can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Hiroshima and add a light layer if any part of the 3.8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Bike Tour with Lunch start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Hiroshima within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Hiroshima?

+

On Outty we rank every Hiroshima experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Peaceful Hiroshima & Miyajima UNESCO 1 Day Bus Tour, Hiroshima Peace (Heiwa) Walking Tour at World Heritage Sites, Hiroshima & Miyajima in 1 Day: Private Tour, Licensed Guide. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Hiroshima?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Hiroshima?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
