  1. Cheonggyecheon Stream

Do you know the word Feng Shui? this stream is where Korean ancestors chose as main water for the capital! Until 1960, this was surprisingly different than what it is now that homeless people, beggars and gangsters used to live here. How about now? It's man-made stream loved my locals located right in the middle of sky-scrappers (banks and investment companies) What a change!

Can I take a moment to pull myself together before I start talking about here? because this place is attached to the end of Joseon era. Our last king had lived here and People had to let this kingdom fade away. Because of this, the next place has interesting city legend/myth.

    10 minutes here

  4. Deoksugung Doldam-gil

We love this stone-wall street not because it makes you feel clear change of each season such as cherry blossoms in spring, bright green in summer, and autumn leaves in fall but also city legend that people say you will break up with your lover if walking down here. Why? because this has farewell feeling coming from the historical fact that we finished the previous era right here. Don't worry! It doesn't count as we don't walk but ride a bike. and you don't mind breaking up with me.

    5 minutes here

  5. Jung-dong

Will you be surprised if I say Korea has tons of churches & cathedrals? This area has beautiful and peaceful vibe with the first-built western churches from enlightenment movement at the end of Joseon era.

    5 minutes here

  6. Gyeonghuigung Palace

How will you feel if you are left alone in Seoul age of 18 years old? Gwanghae did a great job during Japanese invasion in late 16C and finally became the King. However! insecurity coming from his origin that he was the son of concubine badly got him. the stress and pressure from his young age. and somehow, building this palace was the biggest mistake he ever made. Do you want me to continue?

    15 minutes here

  7. Gwanghwamun Square

Who do you think you are? Yes! you must be one of the most successful people as you pass this square that was power center back then! Who do we see here? the 2 most respected historical figures of Korea. this two characters will give you some life lesson!

    20 minutes here

  8. Gyeongbokgung Palace

Just by pausing at the entrances of each of the palaces, We can feel the energy of the era and view the architecture and beauty from 600 years ago. According to the theory, this palace explains why Kim, Lee and Park are the 3 most common family names in Korea. and it is quite fascinating. Let's check it out together

Great way to learn where everything is in Seoul. Also this history of Seoul and Korea. Loved it

The biking is easy and safe. We got to see Seoul thru history and see where the palaces are. Hyan knew his stuff and was freindly and helpful. (also patient as we were late). Thoroughly recommend

A three hour bike trip around Seoul

Our guide Sangwoo was enthusiastic to show us around the city of Seoul. He was pleasant, informative and easy to speak with. He even allowed us to defer the trip for one day when our plane was delayed and a list of the places we saw. The bikes were easy to ride.

Bike tour, Travel back in time to Old Seoul: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Seoul.

How much does Bike tour, Travel back in time to Old Seoul cost?

+

Prices start at $75 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Seoul usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Bike tour, Travel back in time to Old Seoul take?

+

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Seoul is not rushed.

Is Bike tour, Travel back in time to Old Seoul worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Seoul, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Bike tour, Travel back in time to Old Seoul?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Bike tour, Travel back in time to Old Seoul suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 10. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 3-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Bike tour, Travel back in time to Old Seoul?

+

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Seoul can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Seoul and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Bike tour, Travel back in time to Old Seoul start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Seoul within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Seoul?

+

On Outty we rank every Seoul experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include DMZ Tour: Defector Q&A, Tunnel & Suspension Bridge /Hotel pick up, Best DMZ Tour Seoul: Defector Q&A, 3rd Tunnel & Suspension Bridge, 2026 Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best: DMZ Tour from Seoul. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Seoul?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Seoul?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
