Great coverage of Rio

Marco took us on a great ride through the various areas as specified. We followed bike paths most of the time, it was mainly flat riding and he kept us safe. He explained the sites, answered our questions and stopped for photos. Very helpful and good fun despite being a very hot day.

Response from the operator: 🌟 Thank you so much for your amazing feedback! 🌟 We're thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the ride with Marco! 😊📸 🔆 We look forward to welcoming you back for more adventures in the future! 🚀🌈👏

Fantastic way to see the city!!!!

This was the perfect way to see the city! DO THIS TOUR EARLY IN YOUR STAY!!!!! We waited until the last days of our visit and we wish we’d have done it early on. A great exposure and overview of the city! MARCO was our guide and he was fantastic! He explained so much about the various areas and gave us restaurant suggestions in each area of the city! Schedule multiple tours in multiple areas! We did the 4 hour downtown and Botofogo tour starting in Copacabana Beach.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your fantastic review! 😊 We're thrilled to hear that you had a great experience with Marco as your guide and that you enjoyed the tour. It's always a pleasure to provide our guests with a memorable overview of the city. We hope to welcome you back for more exciting tours in different areas soon! 🌆🏖️🌟

Just do it!

We always try to do bike tours when seeing g a new city. It’s the best pace to sightsee and visit multiple sights. Having a local tour guide who knows where to go and what to see is the way to go. The group is capped at 7 which makes it more intimate. It was a warm day but riding in shady areas with a breeze made it bearable. I’d pay attention to the forecast and bring water (although there are multiple apps on the way you can purchase beverages. Also don’t forget the Sun block. Riding by the many beaches of Rio was great, but pay attention to the traffic on the city streets. Plenty of bumps in the road and unpredictable traffic can ruin a day. Overall, a great way to spend 1/2 a day in Rio and get some exercise in.

Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your experience! 🚴‍♂️ We're thrilled you found our bike tour a fantastic way to explore Rio. Navigating through the city's unique streets and beaches is indeed a memorable adventure. Your tips about the forecast, water, and sunblock are spot on! 🌞🌊 We're always striving for safety and ensuring our groups enjoy the sights while staying hydrated and protected. Hope to see you on another tour soon! 🌴🚴‍♀️🇧🇷

Bike Tour Of Rio – Beaches and Lagoon: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Rio de Janeiro.

How much does Bike Tour Of Rio – Beaches and Lagoon cost?

+

Prices start at $72 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Rio de Janeiro usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Bike Tour Of Rio – Beaches and Lagoon take?

+

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Rio de Janeiro is not rushed.

Is Bike Tour Of Rio – Beaches and Lagoon worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 71 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 21 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Rio de Janeiro, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Bike Tour Of Rio – Beaches and Lagoon?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Bike Tour Of Rio – Beaches and Lagoon suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 12. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 3-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Bike Tour Of Rio – Beaches and Lagoon?

+

Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Rio de Janeiro can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Rio de Janeiro and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Bike Tour Of Rio – Beaches and Lagoon start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Rio de Janeiro within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Rio de Janeiro?

+

On Outty we rank every Rio de Janeiro experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Rio's Full Day: Selarón Steps, Christ & Sugarloaf – Tickets & Lunch Included, Rio: Tijuca Rainforest Hike, Wildlife, Waterfalls & Caves, Explore the Best of Tijuca Forest – Hike to Peaks, Caves & Falls. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Rio de Janeiro?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Rio de Janeiro?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
