Not the best experience

Instead of a smaller bus this was an exceptionally large bus and despite of how far in advance I made the reservation the stop was over a mile from our hotel and we were the last pick up point which made us the back of the bus. We lost at least 7 minutes at each stop just to exit the bus. The driver who told us we could charge our phones on the bus did not know where the button was to activate the outlets so we were only able to use it after Butchart Gardens. Also despite the listing by Viator no water was provided. The places we saw were wonderful.

Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the larger vehicle, pickup location, and seating arrangement affected your overall experience. We also apologize for the inconvenience with the charging outlets and for the bottled water not being provided as expected. We appreciate you bringing these details to our attention, as they help us identify areas where we can improve communication and onboard service. We’re glad to hear that you still enjoyed the places visited during the tour. We truly appreciate you choosing Zoom Tours and hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again in the future for a smoother experience. Kind regards, Hussain Zoom Tours

Not enough time

The Gardens were great and the 2 hours we were given was the perfect amount of time. Our driver/guide Justin was amazing, unfortunately we were only given 1 hour and 45 minutes to see all of Victoria which was not even close to what the description says. To be fair, that was really all that time allowed in order to make it back to the ferry but just be prepared to only have time to see one or two places in Victoria. We were still able to walk by China town, the Parliament building, and the Empress hotel but only briefly for each and didn’t have any time to go into the Royal BC Museum.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the gardens and that Justin made a positive impression. Thank you for choosing Zoom Tours, and we hope to welcome you again in the future. Best regards, The Zoom Tours Team

Buchart Gardens

Long day, 12 hour tour with only 2 hours at Bruchart Gardens and less than two hours in Victoria. The remaining time (approximately 8 hours) is spent traveling to and from the attractions.

Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your feedback. We truly appreciate your perspective and apologize for the timing constraints you experienced on the tour. We hope you’ll consider joining us again in the future. Best regards, Zoom Tours Team

Best of Victoria and Butchart Gardens Day Tour from Vancouver: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Vancouver.

How much does Best of Victoria and Butchart Gardens Day Tour from Vancouver cost?

+

Prices start at $229 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Vancouver usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Best of Victoria and Butchart Gardens Day Tour from Vancouver take?

+

Plan for about 12 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Vancouver is not rushed.

Is Best of Victoria and Butchart Gardens Day Tour from Vancouver worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 14 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Vancouver, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Best of Victoria and Butchart Gardens Day Tour from Vancouver?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Best of Victoria and Butchart Gardens Day Tour from Vancouver suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 12-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Best of Victoria and Butchart Gardens Day Tour from Vancouver?

+

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Vancouver can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Vancouver and add a light layer if any part of the 12-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Best of Victoria and Butchart Gardens Day Tour from Vancouver start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Vancouver within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Vancouver?

+

On Outty we rank every Vancouver experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Vancouver City Sightseeing Tour: Capilano Suspension Bridge & Vancouver Lookout, Epic Electric Bike Tour of Vancouver, Whistler, Sea to Sky Gondola, & Shannon Falls Tour from Vancouver. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Vancouver?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Vancouver?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
