Highly recommended - Tuscan Wine Tour

Those 3 days were culturally rich, between our great guide Giuseppe's stories of the area and all the different vineyards we have visited, my wife and I are really delighted with the experience - great food and great people! The hotel we stayed in was really charming and the whole rides from/back to Florence were very smooth.

Amazing Trip of Tuscany- a must do!

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy! First, we throughly enjoyed the fact that our party of 4, was the only one on this tour. We travelled in style in a Mercedes Mini-van. It was super clean, comfortable, and we all had space to spread out. Paolo was our tour guide for all three days! He is a wealth of information and you can just tell he loves what he does! We learned so much about wine- I will never again view a glass of wine the same! The smaller towns of San Gimignano & Siena were adorable. The wineries we visited all varied- from a small production farm to a bigger producing winery. All filled with so much history! I felt like we learned and saw so much! The hot spring on the last day was such a treat! We stayed at a lovely farm house the two nights, and the staff there were just as wonderful. Matteo, from Tuscany Untouched even personally checked in with us. We felt very well taken care of and they really did seem to strive to provide a wonderful experience for us! I would highly recommend this tour! A must if visiting this region!

Response from the operator: Hi Brenda and Cassy, I am so glad you enjoyed the whole tour. Thank you very much for sharing your great feedback! It was a big pleasure to have you on tour and I really hope to see you again in the future for another amazing Tuscany experience. All the best Matteo Piccardi

Cannot imagine a better way to get acquainted with the beauty and history of Tuscanny

We have just enjoyed 3 days of Tuscanny's beauty with Matteo and Paolo. The food and wine and beathtaking scenery have to be seen to be beleived. When you're being taken care of by guides who have grown up in the region and love it too, it's a wonderful experience. The accommodation is in a high location of such beauty, it's hard to put the camera/phone down and just enjoy it. We cannot reccommend this experience highly enough. If you're going toTuscanny, see it with these guys!

Response from the operator: Hi Gregory, Thank you for you nice feedback! It means a lot for us... I am so happy to hear that you enjoyed the whole tour. Let’s keep in touch if you would like to come back... Thank you again All the best Matteo

    A wonderful introduction to Tuscany

My wife and I booked a three day tour with Tuscany Untouched as a way to introduce us to the region. The experience more than surpassed our expectations. Our guide and driver, Paolo, was incredibly warm, hospitable and - above all - supremely knowledgeable of Tuscany. He was a encyclopedia when it came to local history, the climate, geology, architecture, local traditions and wine. Whenever we'd throw a question at him, he would have a comprehensive, thoughtful answer. When guiding us to destinations, such as San Gimingnano and Siena, Paolo offered useful tips allowing us to get the most from our visit. Other highlights included a tour and intimate lunch at Fattoria San Donato (sampling the family's wine and produce), visiting the Bagni San Filippo Hot Springs (oh, the smell of sulphur!), pitstops across the Val d'Orcia, and the many wineries we visited including Solario Patrizia Cencioni and Castello di Verrazzano Winery (Chianti). Paolo's choice of wineries was thoughtfully designed to give us an appreciation of the diversity within the Tuscan wine region. Thanks Matteo, Paolo and Tuscany Untouched for an unforgettable adventure. We're already plotting our next (longer) trip. We recommend Tuscany Untouched to people who want an authentic Tuscan experience with a passionate guide. James and Colette

Best of Tuscany in 3 days with a local: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Florence.

How much does Best of Tuscany in 3 days with a local cost?

    +

Prices start at $3000 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Florence usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Best of Tuscany in 3 days with a local take?

    +

Plan for about 72 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Florence is not rushed.

Is Best of Tuscany in 3 days with a local worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 46 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable food & drink in Florence, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Best of Tuscany in 3 days with a local?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Best of Tuscany in 3 days with a local suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 72-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Best of Tuscany in 3 days with a local?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Florence can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Florence and add a light layer if any part of the 72-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Best of Tuscany in 3 days with a local start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Florence within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Florence?

    +

On Outty we rank every Florence experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Best tour in Florence: Renaissance & Medici Tales - guided by a STORYTELLER, Florence Pizza or Pasta Class & Gelato Making at a Tuscan Farm, Small group Tuscan Wineries, Olive Oil & Gourmet Lunch or Dinner. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Florence?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Florence?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
