Amazing trip in Kazachstan and Kyrgyzstan

The experience was great. I explained that I wanted to have my own customized itinerary. Datka travel took time to take the places I was interested to visit into consideration and carefully created a customized travel itinerary for me. The tour guides were great too and spoke good English. They had a lot of knowledge about the country and the places we visited. Overall, a great experience and I would highly recommend Datka Travel.

Best tour in Kyrgyzstan

Simply one of the best experiences of my life! Song Kul was absolutely beautiful. Nomads didn't build permanent structures and the scenery was unobstructed and magnificent. Our guide was very careful to make sure we were safe and had a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Kyrgyzstan!

The Best Tour Agency for the Best of Kyrgyzstan

Datka is a fantastic tour agency that made my this trip, from horseback riding at Song Kul Lake and on top a mountain overlooking the jaw-dropping view of Issyk Kul Lake, to sailing and swimming in the crystal blue waters of Issyk Kul, to seeing history at Burana Tower, to mountain hiking in the enchantingly beautiful Barskoon, to an eagle and archery show, to swimming in a natural spring and spa, to even sleeping in yurts at Song Kul and Issyk Kul! There are many tour agencies out there but let me explain the factors that made this Datka particularly valuable to me: Solo traveler - I wanted to do a multi-day tour in the countryside but as an independent traveler, many tour agencies will only accommodate group reservations or extremely pricey private tours for the solo traveler. However, I wanted to enjoy the beauty of the countryside in Kyrgyzstan without breaking the bank. Fortunately, I emailed the company and its owner Talgat responded to me immediately that even as an individual, I could join a pre-existing tour group. This was the major selling point for me as it allowed me to take advantage of a tour while paying a much more reasonable price. So if you are a solo traveler and you’re looking to do a tour of Kyrgyzstan and you want to save some cash by joining a group, definitely reach out to Datka as they will work hard to fit you in another group tour. Responsiveness - I reached out to a bunch of other tour agencies in the region and was surprised how many of them would not respond or would only respond very shortly and was very minimal information that was ultimately unhelpful. By contrast, Talgat at Datka was extremely responsive, which was another major selling point for me. He actually cares about the business and the client and he answered all of my (surely annoying!) questions both very promptly and very thoroughly. This guy knows how to run a business. Tour guides - all of Datka’s tour guides I had as well as the others I interacted with were phenomenal, and all them spoke amazing English. The tour guides would quickly send you a message in the morning when they were approaching your hotel for pick up, they would give you tons of information on whatever you were seeing, and they made the overall experience unforgettable. I know there are a lot of options out there for tour agencies but believe me, you cannot go wrong with Datka and I cannot recommend them highly enough to make your time in Kyrgyzstan perfect.

Best of Song Kul and Issyk Kul Lakes in 4 Days: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Bishkek.

How much does Best of Song Kul and Issyk Kul Lakes in 4 Days cost?

+

Prices start at $699 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Bishkek usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Best of Song Kul and Issyk Kul Lakes in 4 Days take?

+

Plan for about 96 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Bishkek is not rushed.

Is Best of Song Kul and Issyk Kul Lakes in 4 Days worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Bishkek, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Best of Song Kul and Issyk Kul Lakes in 4 Days?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Best of Song Kul and Issyk Kul Lakes in 4 Days suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 96-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Best of Song Kul and Issyk Kul Lakes in 4 Days?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Bishkek can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Bishkek and add a light layer if any part of the 96-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Best of Song Kul and Issyk Kul Lakes in 4 Days start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Bishkek within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Bishkek?

+

On Outty we rank every Bishkek experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include All-Inclusive Day Trip: Burana, Canyons & Issyk Kul with Pickup, 2-Day Issyk Kul Small Group Tour with Yurt Stay and Eagle Show, Ala Archa Nature Park Essential Half Day Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Bishkek?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Bishkek?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
