About this experience
Follow the steps of the travel guru - Rick Steves - and see Prague "through the back door". Our company is honoured to cooperate with Rick Steves and his company since 2004. We have guided many of their European group tours. You can book the "Best of Prague tour" with us. We do this tour for Rick whenever he comes to Prague to upgrade his book. You can try it too! :-) Rick is always very friendly and allowed us to use his name for our business. He never asked for any money. The only rule he expressed was that he is very uncompromising regarding the quality of the books delivered to Rick`s bookholders! This walking tour offers professional and friendly individual care + "a SURPRISE LOCAL TREAT". Every client gets something very local, that you would otherwise miss. We pay attention to the local details ... just as Rick likes. :-) Select the number of people in your group (1, 2, 3, etc.) in the “Select date and travelers” menu to ensure you book the correct number of tickets.

Extremely knowledgeable tour guide for Prague
We had a wonderful tour of Prague with Barbora! She was an excellent guide with an incredible depth of knowledge and experience, and we learned so much about Prague’s history, culture, and beautiful city. Barbora was warm, engaging, and incredibly helpful throughout our time together. She even went above and beyond by helping us secure a lunch reservation at a fantastic restaurant, which we really appreciated. Her expertise and personal attention made our time in Prague even more memorable. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Barbora and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and experienced guide in Prague!

Great experience with Personal Prague Guide
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We have hired private guides in many cities around the world, and Personal Prague Guide ranks among the very best. Our guide, Sarka, combined deep historical knowledge with outstanding planning and genuine hospitality. She made Prague feel accessible and understandable instead of overwhelming. Every location had a purpose, every story added context, and the entire tour flowed effortlessly. We chose to include a driver, and Sarka coordinated everything perfectly so we covered far more than we ever could have on our own while minimizing unnecessary walking. She even stayed well beyond the scheduled end of our tour because she wanted to make sure we didn’t miss important sights. One of our favorite moments was watching the Astronomical Clock from a reserved second-floor location overlooking the square instead of standing in the crowded plaza. That level of preparation and local knowledge made all the difference. Even after the tour, she continued helping us by recommending restaurants, suggesting how to spend the rest of our time in Prague, and explaining the public transportation system so we could make the most of the remainder of our visit. Professional, personable, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable, Sarka gave us an experience we simply could not have created on our own. We would recommend Personal Prague Guide without hesitation.

The one on one experience with Betty was phenomenal! She was so incredibly informative about every question asked. We saw and heard about the history of Prague and the Czech Republic that we wouldn’t have gotten in a large group. We highly recommend Betty!

Why this scores 86
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Best of Prague Private Tour with PersonalPragueGuide: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Prague.
How much does Best of Prague Private Tour with PersonalPragueGuide cost?
+
Prices start at $18 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Prague usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Best of Prague Private Tour with PersonalPragueGuide take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Prague is not rushed.
Is Best of Prague Private Tour with PersonalPragueGuide worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 86 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 144 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Prague, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Best of Prague Private Tour with PersonalPragueGuide?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Best of Prague Private Tour with PersonalPragueGuide suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Best of Prague Private Tour with PersonalPragueGuide?
+
Around 50 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Prague can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Prague and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Best of Prague Private Tour with PersonalPragueGuide start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Prague within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Prague?
+
On Outty we rank every Prague experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Best Reviews: Bohemian & Saxon Switzerland Day Trip From Prague, Bohemian & Saxon Switzerland From Prague-Travelers' Choice 2026, Prague Essential Tour Old Town and Jewish Quarter. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Prague?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Prague?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
