An Unforgettable Provence Experience with the Most Wonderful Guide
Our two-day À la Française tour in Provence was truly one of the highlights of our entire trip, and that was entirely thanks to our exceptional guide, Corinne—also known as Coco. She was simply the best: kind, warm, incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about sharing the beauty of Provence with us. Having grown up in Aix-en-Provence, Coco brought the region to life with her personal stories, local knowledge and wonderful recommendations. She took such thoughtful care of us throughout both days and made every moment feel special, relaxed and perfectly tailored to our interests. I had especially hoped to see the lavender fields, but most had already been harvested. Coco went above and beyond to find a field that was still in bloom so I could have that magical Provence experience. Her effort and thoughtfulness meant so much to me and created a memory I will always treasure. Coco is truly the best tour guide we have ever had. She made our time in Provence unforgettable, and we cannot recommend À la Française—and especially Coco—highly enough!
Response from the operator: Bonjour, Thank you so much for your wonderful review! we're absolutely thrilled to hear that our guide CCorinne (Coco) made a such fantastic impression on you. We're so happy to know you had a experience truly memorable. We hope to welcome you back again soon for another amazing adventure in Provence. Maybe next time in Burgundy, Bordeaux, Champagne, Loire, Paris, Normandy. Team A La Française.

Great Provence Experience!
Flo was our professional and friendly guide for the day. He spoke excellent English and was extremely knowledgeable about everything and places in Provence. His safe driving on all the narrow roads in the villages put us at ease to chat all the time. The Best of Luberon exceeded our expectations with Flo as every stop was filled with history and beauty.
Response from the operator: Bonjour what a wonderful review! Knowing our tour and our guide made your experience special means the world to us. Our team works hard to create memories that last. Book again anytime — we'd love to have you back for another great day out! Team A La Française!

That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 153 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Avignon, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

+
On Outty we rank every Avignon experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Highlights of Provence in One Day, Chateauneuf du Pape wine tour, Lavender Route - Small-Group Day Trip from Avignon. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Avignon?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Avignon?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
