Good overall winery tour to get a taste
Great tour! Tasted lots of varieties of wines! I wound have liked to take a longer trip on the tram. The description was a bit deceiving. I thought the whole trip was going to be of taking the tram to the various wineries. I wasn’t a big fan of Rickety Bridge. The wines weren’t as good nor was the atmosphere. The guide Blaise was great.

Do not book this experience
This was my first time using Viator and it was a terrible experience. First, we booked this specific tour as it covered all of the things our group wanted to do and guaranteed we would be traveling together (minimizing Ubers). We were able to ride together, however, our driver was terrible. He slammed on the breaks 3 separate times to the point where two people hit their heads. The driver also lied about travel times between places most likely because he did not want to drive us to the areas that were booked in our itinerary. We also had to pay for all entries into parks that were supposed to be included in the cost we paid upfront. When we contacted Viator’s what’s app, we were disconnected 3 times from people when we were not responding after 1 minute from their message. We kept having to repeat our story of not having anything promised in our itinerary multiple times and finally were granted a refund REQUEST. This request was denied less than 24 hours later. Do not book this experience it is a waste of your money and time.
Response from the operator: Hi dear traveler. We sincerely apologies for the inconvenience caused and would like to make you aware that we have replaced the person responsible for the terrible service displayed to you, if there’s anything else we may do to make up for this. Kindly let us know. As we are a small family business, we’d like to request that you kindly remove this review if that is okay with you as we have stopped getting new bookings from Viator and Tripadvisor. This is highly detrimental to our source of income and would like to know if you could find it in you to forgive our poor service, we have made the necessary changes and improvements in our team to prevent this from happening in future. Thank you sincerely and may you be truly blessed!

Best of Cape Town Cape Point and Wineries Combined Private Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cape Town.
How much does Best of Cape Town Cape Point and Wineries Combined Private Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $1500 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cape Town usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Best of Cape Town Cape Point and Wineries Combined Private Tour take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cape Town is not rushed.
Is Best of Cape Town Cape Point and Wineries Combined Private Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 12 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cape Town, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Best of Cape Town Cape Point and Wineries Combined Private Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Best of Cape Town Cape Point and Wineries Combined Private Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 18. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 4-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Best of Cape Town Cape Point and Wineries Combined Private Tour?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cape Town can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cape Town and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Best of Cape Town Cape Point and Wineries Combined Private Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cape Town within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cape Town?
+
On Outty we rank every Cape Town experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cape of Good Hope and Boulders Penguins Day Tour from Cape Town, Table Mountain, Boulders Penguins and Cape point Day Tour, Wine Tour: Paarl, Franschhoek & Stellenbosch incl 3 wineries. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cape Town?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cape Town?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
