Tirta Empul Temple is beautiful temple complex and holy mountain spring located in the village of Manukaya in central Bali. The site serves as a legendary setting of a traditional tale about good versus evil, its also a national cultural heritage site. The temple pond has a spring which gives out fresh water regularly, which Balinese Hindus consider to be holy or amritha where Balinese Hindus go to for ritual purification to cleanse their souls and ward off evil.

Tegalalang Rice Terrace which according to history, was passed down by a revered holy man named Rsi Markandeya in the eighth century. Tegalalang forms the three most splendid terraced landscapes in Ubud shared region, with the others being in the villages of Pejeng and Campuhan. Tegalalang Rice Terrace alone has an outlook that spreads down before you and away to the rice terraces on the slopes across the valley. ATV fun day
Would not book with Viator again, completely messed up the booking. It was only by contacting the local tour company and receiving great support to resolve the booking issue or the day would have been a disaster. As it was, Pande our driver was great. Arriving on time with clean air- conditioned transport. He not only took us to our main activity, ATV tour, but also rice fields, a great coffee grower and the Water Temple. He took time to explain the levels of temple and their meaning. Our day was cut short due to a member of our party feeling unwell otherwise we would have visited waterfalls. Very full and value for money day. Thanks Putu Ariawan and Pande.

Disappointing
Due to the traffic on the roads..it took us around 2 hours to get to the ATV ride centre. It took around an hour to do the circuit which wasn't that good at all. The driver had no idea that after lunch we were to continue on to Kintamani Volcano..visit Tirta Empul Temple..Tegalalang Rice Terrace and Tegenungan Waterfall. He wasn't prepared to take us as it would take too long. It was alot of money just for an ATV ride..very disappointed..

Usually it will take 1,5 hours drive from your hotel in Seminyak to our ATV Ride location and there is no short cut from Seminyak to our ATV Ride location. During the riding it will take 2 hours but you are riding to fast and that's why you only riding one hours. Look forward to possibility assist you on your next visit to Bali
