A Beautiful Day
We booked this as a couple during our cruise stop in Naples and were very happy with the experience. The Amalfi Coast is one of those places where the scenery looks almost unreal, and seeing it in person was even better. We liked that the tour included Sorrento, Positano, and Amalfi but still allowed us some personal time in each destination. Positano was the highlight for us, although Amalfi was beautiful in a completely different way. The small group was a nice touch because the day never felt crowded or chaotic. The air-conditioned transportation was also very welcome on the warmer roads. We had been particularly concerned about returning to the ship on time, but the schedule was handled carefully. It felt like a full day without becoming exhausting.

Finally Seeing the Amalfi Coast
As a solo traveler arriving by cruise, I wanted something organized enough to take away the transportation stress but not so structured that I couldn't enjoy the places myself. This tour was a good fit. Pickup from the cruise port was easy, and the smaller group made it simple to meet a few other travelers without feeling like I was part of a huge crowd. Sorrento was a pleasant first stop, Positano was absolutely stunning, and I really enjoyed having some free time to explore Amalfi at my own pace. The vehicle was comfortable and cool, which made a difference after walking around. Communication was also reassuring throughout the day. I never had to wonder about getting back to the ship, and we returned with enough time to spare. A very satisfying way to experience the coast on a cruise stop.

Our Kids Still Talk About Positano
This was one of the best days of our cruise for our family. We had two adults and children with us, so we were looking for something that would give us sightseeing but also some freedom to stop, walk around, and take breaks. The itinerary worked nicely for that. Sorrento gave us a relaxed start, Positano was the place everyone wanted to photograph, and Amalfi gave us another chance to explore and have a little free time. The comfortable air-conditioned vehicle was especially appreciated by the kids. We also liked traveling in a smaller group because there wasn't the feeling of being herded from one place to another. The return timing was handled carefully, which meant we could enjoy the day without constantly checking the clock. Beautiful views and a genuinely enjoyable family experience.

Lots of Laughs and Amazing Views
We booked this excursion with a group of friends and honestly weren't sure whether fitting three destinations into one day would feel too hectic. It didn't. The day had a good rhythm, with driving between locations and enough free time to explore Sorrento, Positano, and Amalfi. We spent most of our free time walking around, trying local food, taking photos, and just enjoying the atmosphere. The coastal scenery between stops was incredible as well. Having a small group made everything easier, especially when getting on and off the vehicle. The air conditioning was definitely appreciated after walking in the sun. We were also impressed with how seriously the return-to-ship timing was treated. It was a busy day, but in a good way, and we came back with plenty of memories and photos.

Why this scores 70
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Best Amalfi Coast Tour from Naples Designed for Cruise Passengers: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Naples.
How much does Best Amalfi Coast Tour from Naples Designed for Cruise Passengers cost?
+
Prices start at $70 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Naples usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Best Amalfi Coast Tour from Naples Designed for Cruise Passengers take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Naples is not rushed.
Is Best Amalfi Coast Tour from Naples Designed for Cruise Passengers worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 49 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Naples, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Best Amalfi Coast Tour from Naples Designed for Cruise Passengers?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Best Amalfi Coast Tour from Naples Designed for Cruise Passengers suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Best Amalfi Coast Tour from Naples Designed for Cruise Passengers?
+
Around 17 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Naples can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Naples and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Best Amalfi Coast Tour from Naples Designed for Cruise Passengers start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Naples within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Naples?
+
On Outty we rank every Naples experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full Day Private Amalfi Coast Tour from Sorrento/Naples/Salerno, Caserta Royal Palace & Gardens Small Group Tour with Shuttle, Naples Pizza and Tiramisu Cooking Class. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Naples?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Naples?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
