Memorable 10-Day Private Tour with local food experience
It has been over a month since I returned from my trip to South Korea, yet the wonderful memories remain fresh in my mind. Being in my late 60s and having physical challenges, I was both excited and anxious—excited because I had heard so much about South Korea, but anxious about the many steps and hills I might encounter. Nevertheless, I did not allow these concerns to prevent me from embarking on the 19-hour flight and my 10-day private tour. After spending a day relaxing at my hotel in Seoul, the tour organiser arranged a hotel pickup, making the journey to the airport and my onward flight to Jeju Island effortless. Upon my arrival, I was met by Clover, who would be my guide for the next two days. Clover knew exactly where we should stand to capture the best photographs, and she introduced us to some of the finest places to eat. Listening to her carefully explain the history and significance of each location was like travelling back in time. Her knowledge, warmth and enthusiasm made my visit to Jeju truly memorable. I then flew to Busan, where I met Jones, who would be my tour guide for the next 8 days touring South Korea's many attractions. “Attentive while going above and beyond” is the best way to describe him. Whenever he dropped us off at a hotel, he remained in the reception area until he was satisfied that we had a smooth check-in. Jones provided detailed historical information about every location we visited, Jeonju Hakok village, Gamcheon cultural village, Nami Island, Gyeongbokgung Palace, N Seoul Tower and DMZ, to name a few. Whenever possible, he also helped me find alternative routes—slopes, lifts instead of steps—so that I could comfortably reach each destination. As Korean cuisine was included for lunch, he even assisted with cutting / the various meats and mixing the ingredients, ensuring that we fully enjoyed each meal. South Korea is a beautiful country with exceptional food; there is no doubt about that; however, the warmth, knowledge, attentiveness and professionalism of Clover, Jones and Alicia (the tour manager hard at work behind the scene) added the perfect finishing touch to an already unforgettable experience. I am deeply grateful to them for making my journey so enjoyable, comfortable and memorable. Best Tour Ever!!!

An Unforgettable Experience with June – The Heart of Our Korea Trip
We had an absolutely wonderful time touring South Korea with June. He is professional, kind, and incredibly insightful. His passion for her country shines through in everything he does, and he made sure we felt comfortable and well-cared for throughout the entire tour. If you want a guide who is organized, friendly, and truly knows his stuff, June is the one to call.

Well-organized tour with great support and memorable moments
We had a two-week tour in Korea, including the DMZ, Seoul, Andong, Gyeongju, Tongdosa Temple, Busan (with Gamcheon), and Jeju Island. The itinerary was initially suggested with the help of AI and then organized and implemented with the support of Here Korea Travel. Although the same tour could probably be done in 10 days, we chose a slower pace. In retrospect, this was a good decision, as it allowed us to enjoy the places without feeling rushed, even if at times the schedule felt a bit relaxed. Overall, the support we received from Here Korea Travel was very good. Communication was generally smooth, and the team was responsive when needed. Special thanks to Harry (the manager) and June (who handled the arrangements). A very special mention goes to Alicia, who was always there for us — not just responsive, but genuinely caring and reassuring whenever we needed help. That kind of support makes a real difference when you are traveling far from home. The guides they work with were also very good — Namin in the Seoul area, Bada in Gyeongju and Busan, and Mr. Choi in Jeju Island. Beyond their professionalism, what we appreciated most was their warmth, patience, and the way they brought each place to life with their stories and local insights. In Gyeongju, we had a mixed experience. While the location of Lahan Select Hotel is beautiful, we found the atmosphere rather cold and not very welcoming, so this might be an area for improvement. On the other hand, one of our most memorable moments happened there: we visited the ancient tombs in heavy rain, which at first seemed unfortunate, but turned into something special — we were practically alone in the park, just us and our guide, walking with umbrellas among the mounds. It felt surprisingly intimate and unique. All in all, it was a well-organized and memorable trip. We would definitely recommend Here Korea Travel to anyone planning a similar journey in Korea.
Response from the operator: Thank you for joining our tour service and glad to hear that you enjoyed the tour with my tour guide! Hope you have good memory in Korea! Best Regards Harry

Why this scores 59
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Best 10day Korea tour in small group with local food experience: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Seoul.
How much does Best 10day Korea tour in small group with local food experience cost?
+
Prices start at $3700 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Seoul usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Best 10day Korea tour in small group with local food experience take?
+
Plan for about 240 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Seoul is not rushed.
Is Best 10day Korea tour in small group with local food experience worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable food & drink in Seoul, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Best 10day Korea tour in small group with local food experience?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Best 10day Korea tour in small group with local food experience suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 240-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Best 10day Korea tour in small group with local food experience?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Seoul can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Seoul and add a light layer if any part of the 240-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Best 10day Korea tour in small group with local food experience start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Seoul within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Seoul?
+
On Outty we rank every Seoul experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include DMZ Tour: Defector Q&A, Tunnel & Suspension Bridge /Hotel pick up, Best DMZ Tour Seoul: Defector Q&A, 3rd Tunnel & Suspension Bridge, 2026 Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best: DMZ Tour from Seoul. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Seoul?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Seoul?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
