This is a total scam!! Do not book it!!

THIS EXPERIENCE WAS A TOTAL SCAM!!! I would not recommend this to my worst enemies. It started off OK, with the man picking us up at the agreed to point location, however, everything after that was a total and complete mess. The gentleman took us to a place where all of the accommodations were torn apart by a previous hurricane. They were the houses on stilts, but they were just dilapidated. He took us down a dangerous cliff area to where he had two very small lawn chairs and a fire pit set up. He advertised that it was going to be a large bonfire, like with many people but when we got there, it was a very small beach area with very dirty stagnant water and there was no way to even enjoy any beach time in the area. He picked up pieces of wood or straw that he saw along the way and had two bottles of lighter fluid that people used to light charcoal grills. When I asked him/questioned him about The legitimacy of this excursion because it definitely was not what was advertised; He said that the Bermudian authorities do not allow them to make fires in anything but fire pits. He said that a Bermuda burn bonfire was a fire pit, which was clearly not advertised in the Viator ad advertisement. He gave us two cans of the libation that he promised, but that was about it. he had a cooler with several more in it and said he would leave us alone for a while. He said it would just be the two of us, but there was really no bonfire there at all. I took plenty of pictures to illustrate what I saw so that I can voice my frustration in the future. I paid this man $230 each, for me and my companion; coming up to a total cost of $460 for the excursion. I truly believe I did not get anything out of it. I have used Viator many years to schedule my show excursions. I have traveled previously and I’ve used Viator many times. This is the first time that I have truly been let down by this sort of fiasco through your site. I feel that it should be known so that future travelers will not make the same mistake and book this total disgrace. I really wish to have my money back. I will never book through this site again!!

More than we could have asked for!

Even better than anticipated! Ervin was a gracious and conscientious host, eager to please, and delivered an outright amazing experience. Will definitely be looking him up for our next Bermuda experience. Highly recommend.

Bermuda Beach Bonfire with Dark and Stormy Cocktail Included: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Long Island.

How much does Bermuda Beach Bonfire with Dark and Stormy Cocktail Included cost?

    +

Prices start at $215 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Long Island usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Bermuda Beach Bonfire with Dark and Stormy Cocktail Included take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Long Island is not rushed.

Is Bermuda Beach Bonfire with Dark and Stormy Cocktail Included worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 47 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3/5 across 2 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Long Island, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Bermuda Beach Bonfire with Dark and Stormy Cocktail Included?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Bermuda Beach Bonfire with Dark and Stormy Cocktail Included suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Bermuda Beach Bonfire with Dark and Stormy Cocktail Included?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Long Island can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Long Island and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Bermuda Beach Bonfire with Dark and Stormy Cocktail Included start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Long Island within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Long Island?

    +

Long Island covers North Fork winery tours, Hamptons beach days, Gold Coast mansion visits and fishing or sailing charters, most reachable as a day trip from Manhattan. On Outty we rank every Long Island experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Transfer in Black SUV to or from JFK, LGA, EWR, Skip the Lines Reliable Comfortable and stress free Rides, Black SUV Transfer From or To JFK, LGA, EWR - All Fees Included. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Long Island?

    +

May to October, with harvest tastings peaking in September. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Long Island?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
