Juan showed us sides of Berlin that we never would have discovered without someone who truly knows and loves the city. He took us beyond the usual tourist sights and introduced us to neighborhoods, stories, and aspects of everyday Berlin life that made the city come alive for us. Juan was so much fun, energetic, engaging, and full of interesting information. We had a great time and saw and experienced far more than we ever anticipated. By the end of the evening, we felt that we had a much broader understanding of Berlin and what life in the city is really like. If you want to experience a different and more personal side of Berlin, spend an evening with Juan. It was one of those tours that made us feel like we really got to know the city rather than simply visit it. Highly recommended!

Getting a Local’s Inside Scoop
I was really looking for a local’s experience in a few neighborhoods in Berlin. Berni was a fun guide - easy to talk to, gave some points of interest, and accommodated as we moved about the city. I got the sense that this ‘tour’ could really be anything you want/need it to be. Go for it, see the Berlin you yearn for with great company!

the night is the life
We had an engaged but chill walking tour of Berlin at night. Beers in hand we traversed some of the same sights that we had seen in the day on another tour, but also others. Andreas was extremely knowledgeable but also intellectually curious. We had great conversations and he showed us to a gem of a hidden bar that we would have never found by chance. Great early 90s vibe. Memorable experiences.
