(From June 1st to August 31st, we visit Tvindefossen on the return journey.)

After your visit to Flåm, we will enjoy a coffee break in beautiful surroundings. From 1 September to 30 April, you will spend some extra time in Gudvangen at the café by the pier. From 1 May to 31 August, we instead head to the historic Stalheim Hotel, majestically perched above the dramatic Nærøydalen Valley with breathtaking panoramic views. The hotel has welcomed travellers since the 19th century and has long been a favourite stop for royalty, artists and explorers.

Wonderful day
The visit to the Viking village and the cruise to Flam are magical moments! The trip is a bit long, but the guide was able to give us a lot of information about Norway.

I wish we had chosen a...
I wish we had chosen a different tour, particularly because this took up a full day of our limited time. While the fjord was beautiful, the town of Flam is just a tourist trap, as well as the Viking Village. Would not recommend this tour. Our tour guide was ok, but not a lot of information about what was going on and we felt lost most of the time. Felt like a wasted day.

The Viking Village is a living-history experience dedicated to Viking Age culture and was one of the main advertised experiences of the tour you chose. We are pleased that you found the fjord beautiful, although we understand that Flåm and the Viking Village may not appeal equally to everyone. What concerns us more is your comment that you felt lost and did not receive enough information from the guide. Get the agenda spelled...
Get the agenda spelled out for the day. The guide didn’t explain to us that the fjord cruise started at the Viking village . We were only 5 minutes or less late to the meeting point and the guide left us so we missed the cruise. Had we known we could have gone to cruise terminal and still caught up with the group

We understand from your comment that, had you known this, you might have been able to go directly to the terminal and catch the boat. Best ever tour!!!
Excellent! I booked this for our visit to Norway, we were apart of six and everyone had a spectacular time. Our travel North guide, Nills was amazing at giving us clear and informative info along the way! Everyone wants to return to Norway after that visit, absolutely beautiful, something for everyone. Viking village and fjord
Excellent guide, scenery magnificent, well organized, well managed. Food was good, on time. Viking village was interesting and guide was good but I did visit a different one a few yrs ago that was definitely better. Comfortable coach and excellent driver.
