The rooftop really makes it worth it!
Super fun experience and learned a lot. The building is also beautiful in and of it's self. The tasting, and the rooftop really make it worth while. The view is so lovely. I had a raspberry beer, and it was perfect!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this wonderful review ! We’re delighted that you enjoyed the experience, discovered more about Belgian beer culture, and appreciated the beauty of the Bourse building. We’re especially happy that you enjoyed the tasting and the Beerlab Rooftop, and that the raspberry beer was a perfect choice ! The views over Brussels are certainly a great way to finish the experience. Thank you for recommending us, and we hope to welcome you back for another Belgian beer soon !

Unimpressed
Unfortunately we weren't very impressed. I know it's a museum rather than a brewery, but it wasn't very interesting in our opinion. We also felt it was expensive. Could also benefit from some air conditioning
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We’re sorry to hear that the experience did not meet your expectations. Belgian Beer World Experience is designed as an interactive journey through Belgian beer culture rather than a traditional brewery visit, but we understand that the format may not appeal to everyone. We also regret that the temperature affected your visit. We know that warmer days can make the experience less comfortable, and we are taking this type of feedback into consideration as we look for ways to improve visitor comfort. Thank you again for taking the time to share your thoughts. Your feedback helps us continue to improve the experience.

Beer Experience in Brussels, Belgium
This experience was just okay. I went in June and it was so hot! It’s self guided and at your own pace. You get two shot glass size beer tasters, but they don’t even give you any information about what you’re drinking, they just hand it off. It’s a lot of reading if you want to learn about the history and whole beer making process—but there’s a virtual show upstairs that’s pretty neat! Up on the rooftop, you get one beer that’s included but the line is long and it’s extremely hot, no fans or air conditioning either. The view is nice, but the outdoor patio is hot too!
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We’re sorry that the heat affected your visit and made the experience less comfortable, especially during the warmer summer days. We understand how this can impact the overall enjoyment of the experience. Regarding the tastings, the two small beer samples are included as part of the self-guided journey, allowing visitors to discover different Belgian beers along the way. We’re sorry if you felt that more information should have been provided about the beers themselves. We’re glad that you enjoyed the virtual show and the view from the rooftop. We also understand that waiting for the complimentary beer can be frustrating when the rooftop is busy, and we are continuously looking at ways to improve the visitor flow and service. Thank you again for your honest feedback. It helps us identify areas where we can continue to improve.

Best beers ever
Great place with amazing beers. Museums very cool, only complaint is that it’s slightly too warm. Amazing views of the city from the roof top. Not at fault of the venue, but the stairs up to it were all covered in urine from presumably the night before - it stank and my shoes were sticking to the concrete so be warned haha. Very friendly staff all speak great English - be sure to leave a tip!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your detailed review ! We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed our selection of Belgian beers, the museum experience, and the amazing views from the BeerLab Rooftop. It’s also great to know that our team made you feel welcome ! We’re sorry that the temperature affected your comfort during the visit, and we appreciate your understanding regarding the situation on the stairs outside the venue. We agree that this is certainly not the kind of welcome we want for our visitors. Thank you again for your recommendation, and we hope to welcome you back for more great Belgian beers and another view over Brussels !

Save your money, just head to the rooftop.
I was hoping for a guided tour, instead this was a display more than anything with some displays and pictures to read. It was also so hot inside that I wanted it to be done. The part where you got two free samples, no one really explained them they just handed them to you. The weird movie room was the best part because it was air conditioned. Perhaps if it was cooler I would have enjoyed my time reading the material. The gentlemen at the end suggesting beers was great. I appreciated his input.
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We are sorry to hear that your visit did not fully meet your expectations. The Belgian Beer World Experience is designed as a self-guided interactive experience, allowing visitors to discover Belgian beer culture at their own pace through digital installations, interactive displays, videos, and storytelling rather than a traditional guided tour. We understand your comments regarding the temperature during your visit. As the experience takes place in a historic building, there are technical limitations, but we are continuously working on improving visitor comfort, especially during warmer periods. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the tasting moments. We will share your comments with our team to ensure that visitors receive more context and explanations about the beers they discover during the experience. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the film area and that our colleague at the rooftop helped you choose a beer. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again and provide you with an even better experience.

Why this scores 58
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Belgian Beer World Experience: Beer Tasting + Rooftop Beer: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Brussels.
How much does Belgian Beer World Experience: Beer Tasting + Rooftop Beer cost?
+
Prices start at $22 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Brussels usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Belgian Beer World Experience: Beer Tasting + Rooftop Beer take?
+
Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Brussels is not rushed.
Is Belgian Beer World Experience: Beer Tasting + Rooftop Beer worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 58 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 34 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Brussels, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Belgian Beer World Experience: Beer Tasting + Rooftop Beer?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Belgian Beer World Experience: Beer Tasting + Rooftop Beer suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Belgian Beer World Experience: Beer Tasting + Rooftop Beer?
+
Around 12 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Brussels can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Brussels and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Belgian Beer World Experience: Beer Tasting + Rooftop Beer start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Brussels within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Brussels?
+
On Outty we rank every Brussels experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Hungry Mary's Famous Beer and Chocolate Tour in Brussels, Brussels: Historical Walking Tour with Chocolate & Waffle Tasting, Brussels Chocolate Beer Waffle and Belgian Whiskey All-in-One (Small Group) Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Brussels?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Brussels?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
