Changed itinerary

We were not on the itinerary that we booked The provider changed the itinerary without our knowledge

Not as described.

The tour was not as described. This tour is not through Viator but through an outside company. We were to visit 3 castles a distillery and the Giant's Causeway lasting approx 8 hrs. The driver arrived late. The bus ac was not working during a heat wave. He took us through Belfast showing us the gates surrounding the city. We then spent the majority of time on the bus. We had a photo op at only one castle and never visited the other 2. A 20 min pit stop at the Distillery, barely enough time for a tasting. The Causeway was beautiful, but would have chosen a different tour. We questioned the driver regarding what the itinerary stated, he replied that we were on a shortened express tour. We arrived back at our starting 2 hrs prior to the when we were supposed to. Disappointing.

Pros: beautiful scenery,...

Pros: beautiful scenery, visited interesting sites. Driver drove through the city to point out the peace wall and gates Cons: Driver was late. The air conditioning on the bus was broken- in a heat wave- it was hotter inside the bus than out. Most of the time of the 8 hr tour was on the bus. A lot of wasted time; we went to the distillery (only there about 20 min- no time for a tour) then a fairly long drive to lunch, then we doubled back past the distillery to go the opposite direction to the Giant’s Causeway, which was the farthest point. The description says we were supposed to visit 2 castles. The first- we stopped on the road and got pictures of the castle from afar. We didn’t go to the 2nd- when questioned about this the driver said our tour was the “shortened cruise tour”; we didn’t have time to go since we had to get back to the ship by a certain time.

Not a reliable tour operator

This tour is sold by Viator and contracted to “Your Shore Time” and then operated by “Allens Tours”. My husband and I booked this tour through Viator thinking they would stand behind their product. Unfortunately Viator is just a booking agent and they don’t stand behind the tours they sell. We were not met at the Cruise terminal. There was no signage on the buses to indicate the tour name. My husband and I were left behind at the cruise terminal and had to contact the tour operator on our own. It turns out that the same tour was sold by Allen’s Tours, Your Shore Time and Get Your Guide. The people who booked with Get Your Guide were met at the terminal and given instructions that they would be getting on a bus that said Allen’s Tours. We had to take a taxi into town to meet one of Allen’s Tour buses. We were then put on a different tour as the one we booked took a different route and we could not get on that one. We were not told that until we met the bus in town. The tour we were on was In a bus with a driver as a guide while we were on the road. Once we arrived at each location we were on our own to look around. No additional information was provided. When we parked at the Giants Causeway the driver was not able to park in the parking lot so he told us were he would return and we had to look for the Allen’s Tour bus with the one mirror missing and one broken as he didn’t have a sign in the front of the bus. We didn’t dare get back to the bus late as he didn’t do a passenger count and we felt like he would leave without anyone we didn’t get back in time. My honest opinion is that there are other good tour options and companies. Next time I will book direct or with Get Your Guide.

How much does Belfast Shore Tour 2026 Giant's Causeway and Atlantic Coast cost?

+

Prices start at $5 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Belfast usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Belfast Shore Tour 2026 Giant's Causeway and Atlantic Coast take?

+

Is Belfast Shore Tour 2026 Giant's Causeway and Atlantic Coast worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 49 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (2/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Belfast, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Belfast Shore Tour 2026 Giant's Causeway and Atlantic Coast?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Belfast Shore Tour 2026 Giant's Causeway and Atlantic Coast suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Belfast Shore Tour 2026 Giant's Causeway and Atlantic Coast?

+

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Belfast can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Belfast and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Belfast Shore Tour 2026 Giant's Causeway and Atlantic Coast start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Belfast within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Belfast?

+

On Outty we rank every Belfast experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include A History of Terror - Belfast City Centre Walking Tour, Belfast Troubles Tour: Walls and Bridges, Giants Causeway and Castles from Belfast: Guided Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Belfast?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Belfast?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
