Exceptional tour by Sherry and her driver
Sherry and her driver were excellent and extremely professional. Organisation was effortless . Sherry is very informative and knows how to tailor the itinerary to the needs of each guest. Her English is also perfect making it very easy to communicate and to learn about the places being visited and Beijing in general. Would not have any hesitation to recommend 10/10 well done.

Once in a lifetime experience
I had a wonderful time in Beijing, China 🇨🇳. I could not have done any of it without the great help and inspiration from my tour guide Ms. May. She took me to numerous places like the Great Wall of China and the Panda Zoo, including local tea, jade and silk shops. Even her driver, Dong Xue Fei went the extra mile with kind and courteous behaviors. You both made this trip an unforgettable experience for me. Thank you.

Pandas, Tea and the Great Wall - a trip through history.
Wonderful visit to the Great Wall and Panda House with an informative stop at an amazing tea house. Saw some playful pandas in the morning before heading for an introduction to the tea culture and some delicious teas. After an exhilarating ride up to the top of the Great Wall we learned about its history as we strolled between the towers. Topped off by a delicious lunch, throughout the trip Sherry shared lots of history and insight into China. On the way back Sherry was kind enough to help us reserve tickets for our next day’s sightseeing. All in all, a wonderful day enjoyed by young and old alike. Thank you Sherry.

We spent the day with May, and she was a fantastic guide. She was friendly, talkative, and spoke excellent English, making the tour both interesting and enjoyable. She shared a lot of information about the places we visited and was always happy to answer our questions. Everything was well organized, and we had a great time. Highly recommend this tour, especially if you get May as your guide!

Why this scores 81
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Beijing Private Tour:Mutianyu/Badaling Great Wall and Panda House: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Beijing.
How much does Beijing Private Tour:Mutianyu/Badaling Great Wall and Panda House cost?
+
Prices start at $100 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Beijing usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Beijing Private Tour:Mutianyu/Badaling Great Wall and Panda House take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Beijing is not rushed.
Is Beijing Private Tour:Mutianyu/Badaling Great Wall and Panda House worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 81 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 94 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Beijing, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Beijing Private Tour:Mutianyu/Badaling Great Wall and Panda House?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Beijing Private Tour:Mutianyu/Badaling Great Wall and Panda House suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Beijing Private Tour:Mutianyu/Badaling Great Wall and Panda House?
+
Around 33 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Beijing can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Beijing and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Beijing Private Tour:Mutianyu/Badaling Great Wall and Panda House start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Beijing within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Beijing?
+
On Outty we rank every Beijing experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Mubus: Mutianyu Great Wall Bus Tour with Summer Palace Options, Beijing: Top 6 Highlights All Inclusive 2-Day Private Tour, Private Mutianyu Great Wall Trip With English-Speaking Driver. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Beijing?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Beijing?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
