Spectacular.

We spent 3 days in Beijing, unforgettable, we hired the Enterprise Catherine Lu Tours, which gave us an impeccable experience, this agency, everything works right, was a private tour 3 couples, from the airport that picked us up and took us to the hotel (great) and all the tours, entrances and all internal transport, train bullet, flights, until the return to Brazil. The only thing we bought on our account were the return tickets to China. The very friendly and helpful driver, the guide Lis (or Lili ), fantastic and very experienced, I have no words to describe her, on a note would be 10 or 1000.

We had an amaizing expirience yesterday with our guide Justin. He is very intelligent and knows interesting historical details and facts in everithing that we asked him. He is very friendly, kind and a big profesionalist in his work. We are very happy that he was our guide and share his time on our unforgettable trip.

Our amazing day with Catherine Lu Tours and Justin

It was an amazing day. The trip was excellently organised and everything went smooth. Justin was an excellent guide. He was waiting for us at the hotel lobby in the morning and we spent the whole day together. He is very well educated and gave us very interesting and useful information. Thank you!

Great fun tour with Nico!

We spent one week in Beijing accompanying our children who went there for an educational competition. We had Catherine tours recommended by a friend who lived in Beijing and chose one of our free days to make a private tour, which ended up being the high point of our trip! First of all we were sent a well kept, clean and comfortable car. Added to it, the best driver ever, Mr Lee, always with a smile on his face. I have car sickness and it was the first time in my life that I don’t feel any nausea, despite being sitting in the back. He drives so smoothly you barely feel any car movement. And second of all, one of the best tour guides I’ve used. Nico was absolutely great. We visited Forbidden City and The Great Wall, Mutianyu section, as suggested by Nico, and it was amazing. No one was there and pictures turned out fantastic. We enjoyed the great views and lovely breeze just for ourselves. On the way down we used a fun tobogã. Nico was extremely knowledgeable of his history and proud of his heritage. He interacted with all of us in such a kind and fun way, giving a huge attention to each one of us individually, making sure all our needs were fulfilled and we were happy and enjoying a great time and learning a lot about the visited places. He was super kind to help us ordering pizza to the children who were on their way back from the competition even after we finished the tour. Very few people in China speak English and he had the patience and went an extra way with us to a Pizza place just to help us with the communication. I just recommended him to my brother who is going to Beijing for an exhibition. I highly recommend Nico and Mr Lee from Catherine tours to everyone!! Ask for them and you won’t go wrong!

Beijing Must See Mini Group Day Tour: Forbidden City&Great Wall: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Beijing.

How much does Beijing Must See Mini Group Day Tour: Forbidden City&Great Wall cost?

+

Prices start at $199 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Beijing usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Beijing Must See Mini Group Day Tour: Forbidden City&Great Wall take?

+

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Beijing is not rushed.

Is Beijing Must See Mini Group Day Tour: Forbidden City&Great Wall worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Beijing, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Beijing Must See Mini Group Day Tour: Forbidden City&Great Wall?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Beijing Must See Mini Group Day Tour: Forbidden City&Great Wall suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Beijing Must See Mini Group Day Tour: Forbidden City&Great Wall?

+

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Beijing can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Beijing and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Beijing Must See Mini Group Day Tour: Forbidden City&Great Wall start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Beijing within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Beijing?

+

On Outty we rank every Beijing experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Mubus: Mutianyu Great Wall Bus Tour with Summer Palace Options, Beijing: Top 6 Highlights All Inclusive 2-Day Private Tour, Private Mutianyu Great Wall Trip With English-Speaking Driver. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Beijing?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Beijing?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
