We had a fantastic time on our tour. I can't imagine a better guide than Sonia. Her English was perfect. She was always friendly, courteous and prompt. We really enjoyed her positive attitude and sense of humor. The restaurants that she chose were as good as it gets. Phenomenal food with a different local restaurant each day so we got a variety of great flavors. The transportation each day was great. Clean vehicles, prompt service and safe driving to all locations. We will recommend Catherine Lu Tours to all our friends and we will definitely use your services when we come back to China, and we will definitely be back. We really love China! Beijing 2026
We had a wonderful experience with Catherine Lu tours. Our guide, Sonia, was knowledgeable, friendly and made every aspect of the tour enjoyable. She provided extensive history of the sights. Additionally, she chose venues for lunch that were fantastic. We had a different experience each day with restaurants that served local specialties. All logistics of the tour were expertly handled and prompt. We would highly recommend Catherine Lu tours to anyone coming to Beijing.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience on this 3-day private tour of Beijing. The itinerary was extremely well thought out and gave us a great opportunity to see the main highlights of Beijing without ever feeling rushed. One of the biggest advantages of this tour is that it is completely private. This makes such a difference, as the programme can be adapted to your own pace, interests and needs. We really appreciated the flexibility and the fact that we could spend more time at the places we particularly enjoyed rather than simply following a rigid schedule. I have nothing but gratitude and wonderful memories. Adam (Catherine Lu tours) provided excellent support, oustanding level of English, and was incredibly patient and considerate with my family. We were a large family traveling with young children and teenagers so there were certainly some intense moments, but he handled everything with great patience, professionalism and kindness.
