Gesa picked us up at the...
Gesa picked us up at the cruise ship and brought us to see the Gannet Colony. She is passionate about New Zealand and shares her wealth of knowledge along the way. She fit in a couple of quick stops at Wintergarden and Bastion Point, plus gave us excellent recommendations for things to do after our tour. I whole-heartedly endorse this experience!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your lovely review! It was a real pleasure picking you up from the cruise ship and showing you the gannet colony, along with a few of my favourite Auckland spots like the Wintergardens and Bastion Point. I’m so glad you enjoyed the tour and found the local tips helpful for the rest of your time here. Wishing you wonderful travels and hopefully see you back in New Zealand one day! Warm regards, Gesa

Another Five Star Rating
We know why others have rated Gesa's tour a winner. A lovely time with Gesa and we learned and saw some of the west's ideal spots. Thank you for the fine experience...and for adding Westbrook winery - we're already minus one bottle of Pinot. Cheerio...
Response from the operator: Thank you David and Kathleen. It has been an absolute pleasure meeting you both and showing you the rugged magical West Coast before sampling some wine of the region and New Zealand. Have a wonderful time in Aoetaroa!

Beautiful nature tour
This was a really nice tour. We wanted to see some of the more natural landscape of Auckland. Convenient pick-up. We went to the west coast of Auckland and saw the coast and drove/hiked through beautiful scenery. We especially loved seeing the gannet colony. I'd highly recommend this tour!
Response from the operator: Thank you Shari. It has been an absolute pleasure meeting you and showcasing Auckland‘s stunning outdoors. The West Coast is a special place.

Gesa rocks!!!!!
Our tour to the sheep farm and honey farm were highlights of our day but the real highlight was Gesa and her knowledge of Auckland and its history and natural resources. Her abilities are stellar and we feel as if we have a new friend. Thank you so much for a memorable day!!!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much Susan and Burt for trusting me to take you on tour. It has been an absolute pleasure meeting you both and showcasing our beautiful country. I am sure you got a taste of NZ‘s sheep farming and Manuka Honey. Safe travels, until maybe next time!

Excellent tour.
It was a wonderful tour of the Mercer Bay Loop, Piha Beach and the Rainforest. Gesa was very knowledgeable of the area and she made it really fun. She is a wonderful guide. I highly recommend this tour if you want to get out of Auckland and see some beautiful scenery.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much Steve for taking the time to review our day out of Auckland and for your kind words. It is a very special part of the world and definitely one of my favourite close to Auckland

Why this scores 56
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Beautiful Nature Tours Auckland - Private Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Auckland.
How much does Beautiful Nature Tours Auckland - Private Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $247 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Auckland usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Beautiful Nature Tours Auckland - Private Tour take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Auckland is not rushed.
Is Beautiful Nature Tours Auckland - Private Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 11 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Auckland, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Beautiful Nature Tours Auckland - Private Tour?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Beautiful Nature Tours Auckland - Private Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Beautiful Nature Tours Auckland - Private Tour?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Auckland can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Auckland and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Beautiful Nature Tours Auckland - Private Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Auckland within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Auckland?
+
On Outty we rank every Auckland experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Hobbiton & Waitomo Caves Guided Day Trip from Auckland incl lunch, Hobbiton Movie Set Small Group Tour with Cheeky Kiwi Travel, Hobbiton & Waitomo Glowworm Caves Tour with Lunch from Auckland. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Auckland?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Auckland?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
