Entertaining beach

It is a good option since it is close to the city of Cartagena, there are not so many street vendors and to avoid harassment from them it is better not to ask anything because you avoid the bad time, quiet beach there is no waves and has pools, they do dances and competitions I earned a drink for the best photography and lunch I found it very good recommend this beach is beautiful.

Find something else to do.

Not the best beach at all. The water is pretty murky. The service is not very good either. Food it quite terrible. Go to Playa Blanka!!! It’s a drive but so worth it!

Response from the operator: Se les ofrece diferentes servicios y manejamos la opción para playa blanca

A quiet and pleasant beach morning in Palmarito.

You take a boat in the El Laguito neighborhood and in 10 minutes you are on the beach; It is an economical option to take advantage of if you do not have much time to take a several-hour excursion. It is ideal for families and children since there is no waves due to the armed wave breaking wall that forms a kind of pool. There are more street vendors than on other excursions on the Caribbean islands and they are a bit intense, so you have to have a little patience. From the beach you can see the buildings of Cartagena and you can take nice photos, have a drink, rent a jet ski, etc. It may not have the glamor of other beaches on islands, although the place is perfectly adapted to tourism. The price-quality ratio is correct. Go!

Response from the operator: Nos alegra mucho , que haya tenido un lindo do día y poder disfrutar, gracias por reservar con nosotros y habernos permitido ser parte de su vista a nuestra ciudad 😉

Beach day at Palmarito Beach: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cartagena.

How much does Beach day at Palmarito Beach cost?

+

Prices start at $80 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cartagena usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Beach day at Palmarito Beach take?

+

Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cartagena is not rushed.

Is Beach day at Palmarito Beach worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 46 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Cartagena, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Beach day at Palmarito Beach?

+

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Beach day at Palmarito Beach suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 7-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Beach day at Palmarito Beach?

+

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cartagena can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cartagena and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Beach day at Palmarito Beach start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cartagena within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cartagena?

+

On Outty we rank every Cartagena experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cartagena Street Food Tour: 10 Local Tastings in the Walled City, Historic Center & Getsemaní Shared Tour in Cartagena, Cartagena Cooking Class with Local Chef (Small Group Experience). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cartagena?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cartagena?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
