What you get

    About this experience

Hey everyone, I'm Jonathan & I enjoy the off-the-beaten-path bars & good deals! I developed this bar-crawl to counter the stereo-typical party-bus nightclub-crawl where you're herded on a bus with 50+ amateurs being served "free seltzers" and cheap vodka drinks. This is a walking experience to the lesser-known hidden gems, the ones most tourist miss if venturing alone. I've done bar-crawls around the world and most are 3 or 4 spots only, you wait to get in, wait to sit, wait long for overpriced mediocre drinks & they're not really special or hidden. This is a mix of several bars. Some are cheap, some have happy hours, some are divey or hidden spots that most people walk right by. Drinks not included which means you can budget what you wanna spend & decide what you want to drink rather than being forced a specific menu and price. All the bars are walking distance. Some are to-go spots, some we can sit & relax. The goal is to have fun & introduce you to something unknown!

    What you'll see and do

    1. The Las Vegas Strip

First 3-5 spots are your cheap drink spots. Meetup spot is a to-go situation. Yes we can walk and drink in piblic. First two bars are the last little dive bars on the Strip with $2-$5 beers, $4 mixed drinks, and cheap but good food. Last of Vegas dive bar history. We'll also pass by other happy hours spots with low prices like $7 frozen drinks, $6 drinks, $5 beer. Third spot is one of the funniest bars everyone loves. Close quarters, tight knit, flair bartenders, you can meet anyone here and its buy one get one. This is when things really get going!

      60 minutes here

    2. The Las Vegas Strip

Next 3 bars are speakeasies. Some will be open or closed, depending on day and time you book. One is a 19th century bar with live music, hiding behind a vintage barbershop. Another is a hidden tequila and nachos bar under an exit sign. Third is a hidden winter wonderland. Lastly, we'll end at a rooftop but most don't make it to the end!

    Fantastic tour!

Fantastic tour! We had such a great time with Jonathan. He is extremely knowledgeable about not only the bars we went to but also the history of Las Vegas. We leaned so much and had so much fun. It was an awesome way to start our trip in Vegas - we got a sense of the city and we found out about some really cool bars (and food recommendations!) that we used throughout our stay. Highly recommend!

    We had such a fun...

We had such a fun experience! We got to check out some really cool hidden gems with great drink prices and even explored spots I’ve never been to before. Our tour guide, Johnathan, really made the night. He was super knowledgeable about the history of the area and kept the energy up the whole time. Definitely recommend this tour if you’re looking for a fun way to experience a different side of Vegas!

Response from the operator: Thanks Fritzie. Had fun with you girls. Halloween is coming up, you dressing up as husband again!? lol. Have a good summer!

Incredible, laid‑back tour with hidden gems

We had an amazing time with Jonathan. He knows the city inside and out and casually worked in answers to all our questions along with tons of interesting facts. Because we were the only ones on the tour, he picked up on our vibe and tweaked a few stops—making it feel personalized and super relaxed, like friends just hanging out. The highlight was discovering so many hidden bars and speakeasies we’d never have stumbled upon without him. Highly recommend!

Response from the operator: Ya, you guys were alright. Have a cheese infused snowball for me!

Bars Unknown Las Vegas delivered one of the most unforgettable night we’ve ever had in the city—and the secret ingredient was our guide, Jonathan. If you’re looking for a bar experience that goes way beyond the typical Vegas outing, this is it. From the start, Jonathan set the tone with his warm personality, sharp wit, and incredible knowledge of the city’s underground cocktail scene. He doesn’t just take you to hidden gems—he tells you the story behind them. It felt like getting exclusive access to a side of Vegas most visitors never even hear about. Every stop on the tour was a wow moment. Unique speakeasies, creative cocktail menus, and spots with atmospheres so good you almost want to keep them secret. Whether it was a bar tucked behind an unmarked door or a lounge with a menu full of drinks you’ve never seen anywhere else, Jonathan knew just where to take us. He kept the entire experience fun, relaxed, and effortlessly engaging. You can tell he loves what he does, and that energy makes the night electric. His recommendations were spot-on, and he tailored the experience to the group so it always felt personal. Book now!

Better late than never. This was one of the best things we decided to book. Ended up being the only ones on the tour and Jonathon made it feel like old friends hanging out. 3 hours quickly turned into 5 hours and I would highly recommend anyone on the fence to book! He made us feel special bringing us to private sound checks and spending time in places that we enjoyed.

Response from the operator: Glad to spend the day with you and Seyer, I had a blast! Hope you guys had fun at Whenwe were young and make sure Seyer doesn't teleport out the wrong end of restrooms.

Bars Unknown: Vegas Strip Speakeasies, Dives & Gems: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Las Vegas.

How much does Bars Unknown: Vegas Strip Speakeasies, Dives & Gems cost?

    +

Prices start at $49 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Las Vegas usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Bars Unknown: Vegas Strip Speakeasies, Dives & Gems take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Las Vegas is not rushed.

Is Bars Unknown: Vegas Strip Speakeasies, Dives & Gems worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 71 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 19 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Las Vegas, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Bars Unknown: Vegas Strip Speakeasies, Dives & Gems?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Bars Unknown: Vegas Strip Speakeasies, Dives & Gems suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Bars Unknown: Vegas Strip Speakeasies, Dives & Gems?

    +

Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Las Vegas can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Las Vegas and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Bars Unknown: Vegas Strip Speakeasies, Dives & Gems start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Las Vegas within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Las Vegas?

    +

Las Vegas sells two trips at once: the Strip after dark, and the red-rock desert that starts twenty minutes past the last casino. Helicopter runs to the Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam half-days and Red Rock Canyon drives all leave early, while show tickets, speakeasy crawls and high-roller dining fill the evening. Outty Ranking weighs operator reliability heavily here, because the gap between a well-run desert tour and a coach-and-queue version is enormous. On Outty we rank every Las Vegas experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Small Group: Valley of Fire Half Day Tour from Las Vegas, Small Group Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, 7 Magic Mountains VIP Tour, Grand Canyon West, Hoover Dam Stop, Breakfast, Lunch & Skywalk. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Las Vegas?

    +

October to April. Summer highs above 105F make midday outdoor tours punishing. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Las Vegas?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
