A fun and informative wine tour with George!

A fun and informative all-inclusive full day Wine Tour with George. My partner and I were taken with another lovely couple to Henschke, Yalumba, Saltram, Rockford and Greenock Brewery. Everything was included up front and we were given special attention at every Winery with reserved tables and extra pourings from rare and/or limited ranges. George was quite the character - he knew the area and the staff at each Winery as well as his way around a camera and a dad joke. A great day was had!

Response from the operator: Hi Amber and Daniel, Thank you so much for your fantastic review! It was an absolute pleasure hosting you both on your Barossa Valley wine tour. I’m thrilled to hear you enjoyed visiting prestigious cellar doors like Henschke, Yalumba, Saltram, Rockford, and Greenock Brewery. We take great pride in curating the best romantic tour and luxury private experience in South Australia, ensuring every couple gets dedicated attention, reserved tables, and exclusive tastings from rare and limited ranges. If you or your friends ever wish to explore again, feel free to visit our full range of offerings at Wine Valley Tours or check out our Adelaide Hills and McLaren Vale private tour itineraries. Thank you again for choosing Wine Valley Tours, and I hope to see you both on another luxury wine experience soon! Enjoyable Wine Tasting Day Trip

George was a wonderful host and the tour met or exceeded all our expectations. Henschke, Yalumba, and Corryton Burge are excellent selections for wine tasting.

Response from the operator: Wayne it was a great pleasure to host you both in the Barossa Valley wine tour, we did get to see some great wineries and glad to read your review, I do hope to see you visit South Australia again and that we can take you on another winery tour to either the Barossa Valley, McLaren Vale, Adelaide hills with Hahndorf or a Penfolds wine tour. Wine Valley Tours is a family owned and operated business and your review is very helpful for those trying to select a tour that has a higher standard with a great if not the best wine tour itinerary. Keep well and enjoy your photos of the wine tour.

Tailored Barossa wine tour that can’t be beat

George (our guide) an absolute gem and this tour was beyond our expectations. We were picked up in a luxury van from our hotel and brought to 4 vineyards plus lunch (which was also a vineyard)! The tour was tailored to where we wanted to go, George gave us some options and advice on the best in the region. On top of the amazing wine, George made sure we left with captured memories as our own personal photographer. We left happy and full of wine! Highly recommend to anyone coming to the area!

Response from the operator: It was such a pleasure to host you both, a really nice tour and seeing you both at Yalumba having some wine on a couch showed the love you have for each other. Thank you for booking a Wine Valley Barossa Tour and supporting local business. I do believe you will both return and continue your wine journey and romantic times as a couple. All the best and safe travels, keep me up to date with your well-being also.

Exceptional day out.

We had a great day out visiting four vineyards, our guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. We like it being a private tour and had lots of time in each place to ask questions and take our time tasting the wonderful wines of the Barrosa.

Response from the operator: Jonothan and Sharon, what a pleasure to take you both out to the Barossa Valley tour, your both are so nice to host and I really thank you so much for reviewing the Barossa Valley Tour, this will not only help my business grow but allows others to make the right choice. All the best from George.

Barossa Valley Shared Wine Tour , Visit Henschke and Yalumba: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Adelaide.

How much does Barossa Valley Shared Wine Tour , Visit Henschke and Yalumba cost?

+

Prices start at $228 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Adelaide usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Barossa Valley Shared Wine Tour , Visit Henschke and Yalumba take?

+

Plan for about 7.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Adelaide is not rushed.

Is Barossa Valley Shared Wine Tour , Visit Henschke and Yalumba worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 71 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 21 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Adelaide, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Barossa Valley Shared Wine Tour , Visit Henschke and Yalumba?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Barossa Valley Shared Wine Tour , Visit Henschke and Yalumba suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 18. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 7.5-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Barossa Valley Shared Wine Tour , Visit Henschke and Yalumba?

+

Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Adelaide can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Adelaide and add a light layer if any part of the 7.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Barossa Valley Shared Wine Tour , Visit Henschke and Yalumba start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Adelaide within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Adelaide?

+

On Outty we rank every Adelaide experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Premium Barossa Small Group Tour: Wine tasting, Lunch & Chocolate, Discover Barossa: 4 Wine Tastings, Gourmet Lunch, and Hidden Gems, Adelaide Highlights, Hahndorf & McLaren Vale Wine Tasting and Sightseeing Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Adelaide?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Adelaide?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
