Bark on the Ark - a fun trip with your dog!
We took our dog on a wonderful trip known as “Bark on the Ark” . Had a great trip with a boat full of dog lovers - all the dogs (and the people:) were well behaved… took us to a beach on the gulf where the dogs got to romp and play for about 1-1/2 hours. We’ve done this trip 4 times, and if you’re lucky you’ll see dolphins, manatees and other wildlife on the way to and from the beach!
Response from the operator: We love hearing this! Bark on the Ark trips are always such a fun experience. It’s great to know you and your pup enjoyed the beach time and being around other dog lovers. Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to having you back out again soon!

A great day of fetch at the beach with my Aussie!
Was an amazing experience. Crew were great! Dogs were well-behaved. The beach to run and walk has tons of shells so make sure you have good shoes. They even have a doggy bag that has water, a bowl and a ball in case you forgot yours for fetch. We even saw dolphins in the mangroves area on the trip back and they were kind enough to stop for 5 minutes to watch since we were on time.

Beach Days with dogs!
If you love dogs and the ocean, this tour is for you!!!! We had an incredible day on Bark on the Ark! I went with several friends and the crew were engaging and fun! We had roughly a 40 min ride on a pontoon style boat, to a mangrove beach. Once the boat was docked, we slipped through the mangrove trail, and it opened up to a white sandy beach! Plenty of space for the dogs to run and just enjoy the beautiful sand and sun! I’m definitely gonna do this once a month!

Why this scores 62
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Bark on the Ark: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Naples.
How much does Bark on the Ark cost?
+
Prices start at $89 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Naples usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Bark on the Ark take?
+
Plan for about 3.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Naples is not rushed.
Is Bark on the Ark worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 10 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Naples, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Bark on the Ark?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Bark on the Ark suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Bark on the Ark?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Naples can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Naples and add a light layer if any part of the 3.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Bark on the Ark start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Naples within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Naples?
+
Naples is the launch point for Everglades airboat rides and Ten Thousand Islands boat tours, along with shelling trips, sunset sails off the pier and small-group food walks downtown. On Outty we rank every Naples experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Marco Island and Naples Pedal or Paddle Kayak Tour, Mangrove Tunnels & Mudflats Kayak Tour - Local Biologist Guides, Manatees and Mangrove Tunnels Small Group Kayak Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Naples?
+
November to April, the dry season with the best wildlife viewing. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Naples?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
