Exceptional Old Town Tour of Bari with exceptional guide Barbara
The walking tour of Old Town Bari was very informative and interesting. Our tour guide Barbara was extremely knowledgeable. She was kind, answered questions, inquired about the tourists' backgrounds, etc. I truly learned valuable information about Bari specifically and Puglia in general. I have been sharing the information I learned with family, friends and colleagues since I returned to America. I continued on with Barbara after the historical tour of Old Town, with the food tour, which was very delicious and filling!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your lovely review! It’s wonderful that you’re still sharing what you learned about Bari and Puglia back home in America. We hope to welcome you again soon!

Bari street food tour - Perfecto!
Wonderful walking tour with Dorothea. We were a little late but all went well. Dorothea’s knowledge of the food and Bari itself was fantastic. We were caught in a thunderstorm however we continued on.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your lovely review! We’re glad you enjoyed the tour. Even the thunderstorm couldn’t stop the experience 😊 Hope to see you again soon!

Aussie group private tour
From the moment the tour began in the winding streets of Bari, you’re drawn into a side of the city that most visitors would struggle to discover alone. Led by Barbara a knowledgeable local guide, the experience feels less like a structured tour and more like being shown around by a friend who knows all the best hidden spots. Thank you so much from your Aussie group.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind words! It was a real pleasure having your Aussie group with us, and we hope to welcome you again in the future!

Tour full of knowledge
Lovely walking tour with Eugenio. He definitely had a wealth of knowledge about the town and the history and all the church’s and buildings. Food was nice. Unfortunately the focaccia place was closed but otherwise all other places planned were open.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your review! We're happy you enjoyed the tour with Eugenio and his passion for Bari's history. We're truly sorry the focacceria is closed: unfortunately, during the low season, some businesses may have reduced hours or decide to close on less crowded days, and this was one of those cases. We understand the disappointment—especially when it comes to focaccia barese! We hope to have you back with us soon for another tasting... with all the stops open!

Bari Private food tour
Our food walking tour of Bari was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Italy! From the moment we met our guide Alessio, we knew we were in for something special. He was warm, knowledgeable, and full of local charm. Alessio didn’t just show us the city—he made us feel the heart and soul of Bari. We wandered through charming old streets, met local artisans, and tasted an incredible variety of authentic foods—from freshly made orecchiette pasta to focaccia that was out of this world. Every stop felt carefully chosen, and Alessio’s passion for his hometown and its culinary traditions made each bite even more meaningful. Beyond the delicious food, Alessio gave us a wonderful sense of the history, culture, and daily life of Bari. His storytelling, humor, and genuine hospitality made us feel like we were exploring the city with a good friend. If you’re visiting Bari, this tour is an absolute must. Alessio is a fantastic guide who will leave you with a full stomach and an even fuller heart. Highly recommended!
Response from the operator: Dear Customer, Thank you for your feedback and for highlighting the professionalism of our guide. We hope to welcome you again in the future to experience more of what we have to offer.

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Bari.
How much does Bari Street Food Walking tour: Group or Private tour cost?
+
Prices start at $82 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Bari usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Bari Street Food Walking tour: Group or Private tour take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Bari is not rushed.
Is Bari Street Food Walking tour: Group or Private tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 11 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Bari, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Bari Street Food Walking tour: Group or Private tour?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Bari Street Food Walking tour: Group or Private tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Bari Street Food Walking tour: Group or Private tour?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Bari can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Bari and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Bari Street Food Walking tour: Group or Private tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Bari within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Bari?
+
On Outty we rank every Bari experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Bari’s Ultimate Street Food Tour - Small Group by Do Eat Better, Boat Tour of the Polignano a Mare Coast with Aperitif, Bari Vecchia Group Tour in Italian. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Bari?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Bari?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
