Ellie was a great instructor
A private dance lesson with Ellie. Ellie was a qualified instructor and it was great to have a lesson with her and also some advice about where to go salsa dancing afterwards.

Great instructor, booking agency could improve
Ellie was a wonderful person, dancer and instructor. I had a great time. I had trouble finding a good club after so recommend providing travelers with a sheet of good dance clubs for solo travelers with the dates, addresses and hours of operation. Also they changed the time to 8:30 from 9 pm at the last minute and I had already booked other tours and my time was cut short so would have appreciated a discount but was not offered.
Response from the operator: Dear Sonia, Thank you for your feedback. Our teachers are not able to offer discounts as they are there to teach the class only, in general we do not recommend clubs to our guests as recent events of clubs being shut or worse had problems inside and then guests coming to complain to us about it even though it was not our fault. It would not be possible for our team to continuously monitor all clubs in the area. There are many that change their opening hours or simply close for no reason and it is better not recommend our guests to go there and then get disappointed. If you kindly contact our customer service please we are happy to offer you an additional complimentary class (which in many cities has social dance directly after the class) as compensation to the time lost as we were not made aware regarding that you lost time. We hope to hear from you soon. Salsa Lovers Worldwide WhatsApp +52 984 145 1753 info@salsaloversworldwide.com

Worth the money
I had such a great experience here. I was completely new to Salsa and walked into this class with two left legs. My instructor was Ellie and I cannot recommend Ellie’s salsa class enough. Whether you are a seasoned dancer or a complete novice, Ellie’s teaching style and infectious enthusiasm will undoubtedly leave a lasting impact. She is a consummate professional, a gifted dancer, and an exceptional instructor who will help you uncover the salsa dancer within you. Prepare to be enthralled, challenged, and inspired in Ellie’s class – it’s an experience you won’t want to miss!

Why this scores 44
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Barcelona Salsa Lovers Dance Experience: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Barcelona.
How much does Barcelona Salsa Lovers Dance Experience cost?
+
Prices start at $144 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Barcelona usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Barcelona Salsa Lovers Dance Experience take?
+
Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Barcelona is not rushed.
Is Barcelona Salsa Lovers Dance Experience worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 44 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Barcelona, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Barcelona Salsa Lovers Dance Experience?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Barcelona Salsa Lovers Dance Experience suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 18. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 1.5-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Barcelona Salsa Lovers Dance Experience?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Barcelona can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Barcelona and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Barcelona Salsa Lovers Dance Experience start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Barcelona within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Barcelona?
+
Barcelona's Gaudí sites are capacity-limited and the official timed tickets go first, so most of the market is resellers with a guide attached. We weight those heavily on whether the guide is an architecture specialist. Beyond Gaudí, the tapas crawls in Gràcia and the Montserrat day trips carry the highest rankings in the city. On Outty we rank every Barcelona experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Gràcia Tapas and Vermouth Crawl, Costa Brava Tour: Kayak, Snorkel & Cliff Jump from Barcelona, Costa Brava Tour: Kayak, Snorkel, Cliff Jump & lunch Small Group. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Barcelona?
+
May, June, September and October. Sagrada Família light is best mid-morning. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Barcelona?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
