Great time!
David was an excellent skipper and guide. He was so friendly, knowledgeable and overall hospitable. We enjoyed our time with him and on the sailing cruise.

Not premium
I went with this cruise because of it being marked as premium. I enjoyed the sailing but the “premium bar” was beer, cava, sangria, or soft drink. No selection within each category. The tapas were 1 tapa of 5 different kinds on a shared plate all with gluten. The captain was nice but didn’t know much English. He didn’t really talk to us/ point things out because of this. Another cruiser was bilingual which made the experience much better. Someone in the group paid for the guitar player. It was a nice touch but nothing super special. Wasn’t a bad experience but wish I went with the cheaper option.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your candid feedback and for helping us understand your experience in more detail. We are truly sorry to hear that we did not meet your expectations on this occasion, as our goal is to deliver an exceptional, premium experience to every guest. Regarding the dietary and language aspects, we'd like to get more information to help us improve. Our team is always ready to accommodate dietary restrictions, including gluten-free options, with a little advance notice. We'd like to check with our team if this was mentioned to us prior to your cruise, as we would never want a guest to be without suitable options. Our captains and crew are selected for their extensive sailing knowledge and their multilingual skills, with all of them speaking more than three languages to ensure our guests feel comfortable and well-informed. We would greatly appreciate it if you could share the name of the captain or the date of your cruise so we can investigate this and ensure our team is providing the high level of communication we expect. Your feedback is invaluable to us, and we are committed to using it to make our services even better. To help us fully understand your experience, we would be grateful if you could send us an email with all the details to info@sailingexperiencebcn.com. We look forward to welcoming you back on board for a truly exceptional experience in the future.

Beautiful Way to Experience the Mediterranean
This was a great end of day activity to rest our sore tourist legs. The check in was easy. Our skipper was friendly and even let my wife help sail/navigate for a bit. The tapas (selection of 4 items) were tasty and the drink options sufficient (wine, beer, water, soft drinks). While we had hoped to jump in the water it was a bit too choppy and our group was a mix of folks looking to relax and people dressed up for dinner.

Great time at sea
We had excellent several hours on a nice sailing boat with capitan Jose at the steering. Everything happened to be great - the weather, the boat, and our captain was the best. Very helpful, polite and entertaining. The food and drinks were good too. The whole company enjoyed this trip, including refreshening swimming. Thank you very much for this experience. Very much recommended. Mila and family.

Why this scores 69
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Barcelona Sailing Experience: Spanish Tapas and Premium Open Bar: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Barcelona.
How much does Barcelona Sailing Experience: Spanish Tapas and Premium Open Bar cost?
+
Prices start at $37 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Barcelona usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Barcelona Sailing Experience: Spanish Tapas and Premium Open Bar take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Barcelona is not rushed.
Is Barcelona Sailing Experience: Spanish Tapas and Premium Open Bar worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 35 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Barcelona, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Barcelona Sailing Experience: Spanish Tapas and Premium Open Bar?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Barcelona Sailing Experience: Spanish Tapas and Premium Open Bar suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Barcelona Sailing Experience: Spanish Tapas and Premium Open Bar?
+
Around 12 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Barcelona can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Barcelona and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Barcelona Sailing Experience: Spanish Tapas and Premium Open Bar start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Barcelona within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Barcelona?
+
Barcelona's Gaudí sites are capacity-limited and the official timed tickets go first, so most of the market is resellers with a guide attached. We weight those heavily on whether the guide is an architecture specialist. Beyond Gaudí, the tapas crawls in Gràcia and the Montserrat day trips carry the highest rankings in the city. On Outty we rank every Barcelona experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Gràcia Tapas and Vermouth Crawl, Costa Brava Tour: Kayak, Snorkel & Cliff Jump from Barcelona, Costa Brava Tour: Kayak, Snorkel, Cliff Jump & lunch Small Group. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Barcelona?
+
May, June, September and October. Sagrada Família light is best mid-morning. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Barcelona?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
