Terrible experience with this private transfer
The driver never showed up at the cruise port and there was no communication or support. We were left scrambling to find last-minute transportation to the airport. Very stressful and completely unreliable. Would not recommend.
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your concern with us. We take your feedback very seriously and are working hard to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Please include your reservation number in this section. Our team will be happy to assist you.

Not reliable – not professional!
Not a reputable company! Provider was well aware of number of ppl and baggage yet still sent a small, beat-up car with a baby seat in the trunk. Driver swore our luggage would not fit and didn’t even try! We were forced to catch a last minute taxi from the port. I’ve asked 6x times for a refund and the provider has disappeared. If you insist on using them, GOOD LUCK! - you’ve been warned.

A bad experience
This service was dreadful! We arrived at the cruise terminal exit and waited for the driver to contact us. At 09:43, I received a text from the driver IN SPANISH!!! I asked a port services person to read it, and he said the driver had arrived. When I asked the person where he was parked, after a long conversation, we were told to go to the driver, who was somewhere near the coaches. My appearance (clothing, etc) was described to the driver and I was told he would wave when he saw me. I looked around, and he didn't make himself known. I then returned to the same port services agent who had another long conversation with the driver. He then realised the driver was at the WRONG terminal.... terminal 'H', not terminal 'A'. 10 minutes later, the driver had still not made himself known... no appearance and no phone call. The port services agent phoned him again, and during the conversation, we realised that the driver had been walking around close to us for a while - often on the phone, but not phoning me, and not holding-up a name card! We then left for the airport, and after a few minutes the driver briefly scanned through photos on his phone, while driving! At the airport the driver stopped at terminal B, when I had told him we needed terminal 'C'! He argued that it was terminal 'C', so we got out. It was the wrong terminal, and we had to walk some distance to the correct building! A horrible, stressful experience!

Ride to the airport
The driver arrived to the port on time and was very pleasant during our trip to the airport. I would use him again.

Reliable transportation at a competitive price
After running into trouble securing taxis while in Barcelona, we were worried about transportation from the cruise port to the airport and making our (relatively) early flight. We booked this transportation while on the ship. The cost was comparable to booking motor coach transportation via the cruise line, and instead we had our own van. The driver was prompt and courteous.

Why this scores 46
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Barcelona Private Transfer from Cruise Port to Barcelona Airport: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Barcelona.
How much does Barcelona Private Transfer from Cruise Port to Barcelona Airport cost?
+
Prices start at $12 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Barcelona usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Barcelona Private Transfer from Cruise Port to Barcelona Airport take?
+
Plan for about 0.8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Barcelona is not rushed.
Is Barcelona Private Transfer from Cruise Port to Barcelona Airport worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 46 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.1/5 across 15 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Barcelona, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Barcelona Private Transfer from Cruise Port to Barcelona Airport?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Barcelona Private Transfer from Cruise Port to Barcelona Airport suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 0.8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Barcelona Private Transfer from Cruise Port to Barcelona Airport?
+
Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Barcelona can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Barcelona and add a light layer if any part of the 0.8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Barcelona Private Transfer from Cruise Port to Barcelona Airport start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Barcelona within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Barcelona?
+
Barcelona's Gaudí sites are capacity-limited and the official timed tickets go first, so most of the market is resellers with a guide attached. We weight those heavily on whether the guide is an architecture specialist. Beyond Gaudí, the tapas crawls in Gràcia and the Montserrat day trips carry the highest rankings in the city. On Outty we rank every Barcelona experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Gràcia Tapas and Vermouth Crawl, Costa Brava Tour: Kayak, Snorkel & Cliff Jump from Barcelona, Costa Brava Tour: Kayak, Snorkel, Cliff Jump & lunch Small Group. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Barcelona?
+
May, June, September and October. Sagrada Família light is best mid-morning. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Barcelona?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
