13 Geese of the Cathedral with an amazing rooftop.
Enjoyed hearing the history of the church. There was some construction going on but it was okay. I enjoyed the museum that was included also. Was surprised to learn about the geese! And don’t forget to check out the views from the rooftop!

Rude staff
Group of 4 mum, Nan, daughter and great aunt. We knew we would have to cover our shoulders and had knee length shorts with shirts. Young man vetting people let others in with skimpy shorts and strappy tops, others he was telling they could buy a wrap inside to cover up. He blankly refused to let us in unless we put trousers on. Luckily our hotel is 2 minutes away so off we went to get trousers. Very selective about who he let in and who he didn’t wearing skimpy clothes. Very rude young man clearly forgetting tourism pays his wages
Response from the operator: Dear Ruth E, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are sincerely sorry to hear about the frustrating experience your family had regarding the dress code enforcement at the entrance. Please kindly note that the security personnel and entrance checks are managed entirely by the official Barcelona Cathedral authorities, and as a third-party ticket provider, we unfortunately have no control over their staff's behavior or entry decisions. However, we deeply care about our guests' experiences and will pass your feedback along to the monument's management to highlight this issue. We appreciate your patience and understanding. Best regards,

Disappointed…
I arrived at the cathedral in good time… And the app to be honest with you could have been better. I struggled to find the ticket on my phone and the staff at the cathedral took an hour trying to find it also. They spoke very good English and was savi on computers and mobile phones… It was very frustrating and stressful not knowing if I was going get in or not the staff did say that they have problems with Tripadvisor linking in with another company and it’s difficult to get the actual ticket on the screen… the staff tried calling the helpline number twice and it rang out for at least five minutes each time no one was there to help. Disappointing! The cathedral itself was very very good.. I got in 45 minutes later than I expected … I don’t really want this stress next time. I’ll buy the tickets at the entrance. It will save me so much hassle. I shall be wary of this company next time I’ll see if there’s an alternative way of booking.
Response from the operator: Dear Paul N., We would like to gently remind all our guests that, as explicitly stated in our product description and booking details, the actual entrance tickets are additionally sent directly to your registered email address right after purchase. Checking the product details prior to arrival ensures a seamless entry and prevents looking for bookings within third-party apps at the gate. For any unexpected issues or real-time assistance, we also provide a 7/24 active WhatsApp support line where our team is always ready to instantly deliver your tickets or guide you.

A must-do!
We were there around 12:30 PM. There were few people, it was very pleasant. Remember to cover your shoulders and legs to be able to enter! The interior is very beautiful, and the ascent to the terrace also offers a stunning view of Barcelona.

Must See in Barcelona
Please don’t miss this beautiful gothic church in Barcelona. Make sure you go to the rooftop (it’s free) and take your time to admire the architecture and panoramic views of the city. Go early in the morning to avoid afternoon crowds. Be careful if you’re afraid of heights, especially when walking the catwalk at the rooftop. Be sure to sit and experience the beauty of the sanctuary and take in the majestic naves.

Why this scores 49
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Barcelona Cathedral Entry Ticket: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Barcelona.
How much does Barcelona Cathedral Entry Ticket cost?
+
Prices start at $16 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Barcelona usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Barcelona Cathedral Entry Ticket take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Barcelona is not rushed.
Is Barcelona Cathedral Entry Ticket worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 49 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.6/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Barcelona, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Barcelona Cathedral Entry Ticket?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Barcelona Cathedral Entry Ticket suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 4. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 2-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Barcelona Cathedral Entry Ticket?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Barcelona can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Barcelona and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Barcelona Cathedral Entry Ticket start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Barcelona within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Barcelona?
+
Barcelona's Gaudí sites are capacity-limited and the official timed tickets go first, so most of the market is resellers with a guide attached. We weight those heavily on whether the guide is an architecture specialist. Beyond Gaudí, the tapas crawls in Gràcia and the Montserrat day trips carry the highest rankings in the city. On Outty we rank every Barcelona experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Gràcia Tapas and Vermouth Crawl, Costa Brava Tour: Kayak, Snorkel & Cliff Jump from Barcelona, Costa Brava Tour: Kayak, Snorkel, Cliff Jump & lunch Small Group. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Barcelona?
+
May, June, September and October. Sagrada Família light is best mid-morning. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Barcelona?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
