BCN CARDS DONT WORK

This card is complete garbage. It works once and then doesn't work after that. I bought 2 five day passes. Because they only scan once and stop working, I had to buy about 5 or 6 of these cards over the 5 days we were in Barcelona. Ripoff!!!!

Barcelona made easy

Convenient to have for busses and trains and some nice smaller museums. Easy to retrieve and friendly visitor centre staff.

Absolutely must!

We recently purchased the Barcelona Card for a four-day trip, and it was an absolutely excellent decision that significantly enhanced our visit. The card provided incredible value and flexibility. Getting from the airport was seamless, as the card covered the public transportation needed to get into the city center. For the subsequent four days, we took full advantage of the included unlimited public transportation within the city. This was a massive benefit—we were able to hop on the metro, buses, and trams whenever we liked, making us feel completely flexible and free to explore every neighborhood without worrying about purchasing individual tickets. Another major highlight was the free entry to museums and attractions. We visited several fantastic museums that were included in the card, which saved us a substantial amount of money on admission fees. The ability to just walk in and start exploring, combined with the transit convenience, meant we maximized our sightseeing time. If you plan to use public transport and visit a few of the included museums or attractions, the Barcelona Card is highly recommended. It’s an easy, cost-effective, and stress-free way to experience Barcelona

Useless (Buy real Barcelona Card instead)

Could not use this as a Barcelona Card to get into museums. They want a physical Barcelona Card, not something in your Apple Wallet. Very disappointing.

Response from the operator: Dear Mark, thank you for your review. It's unfortunate that you couldn't use the Barcelona Card but, as specified in the purchase page and on the confirmation voucher, the card needs to be picked up at the information points. As you might understand there are some technology limitations related to the museums included. In this case I believe that the useless comment and the 1 star review is unnecessary as it's not describing the product but the difficulty you had in understanding how to redeem your purchase. I hope one day you could enjoy fully the product.

As much as you can handle

We did a museum a day and a night out as well so the transportation function really benefited us. But you could easily do 2 museums a day and nights out we just were pacing ourselves.

Barcelona Card: Museums + Transport for 72h, 96h or 120h: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Barcelona.

How much does Barcelona Card: Museums + Transport for 72h, 96h or 120h cost?

+

Prices start at $38 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Barcelona usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Barcelona Card: Museums + Transport for 72h, 96h or 120h take?

+

Plan for about 72 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Barcelona is not rushed.

Is Barcelona Card: Museums + Transport for 72h, 96h or 120h worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.7/5 across 911 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Barcelona, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Barcelona Card: Museums + Transport for 72h, 96h or 120h?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Barcelona Card: Museums + Transport for 72h, 96h or 120h suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 72-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Barcelona Card: Museums + Transport for 72h, 96h or 120h?

+

Around 319 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Barcelona can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Barcelona and add a light layer if any part of the 72-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Barcelona Card: Museums + Transport for 72h, 96h or 120h start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Barcelona within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Barcelona?

+

Barcelona's Gaudí sites are capacity-limited and the official timed tickets go first, so most of the market is resellers with a guide attached. We weight those heavily on whether the guide is an architecture specialist. Beyond Gaudí, the tapas crawls in Gràcia and the Montserrat day trips carry the highest rankings in the city. On Outty we rank every Barcelona experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Gràcia Tapas and Vermouth Crawl, Costa Brava Tour: Kayak, Snorkel & Cliff Jump from Barcelona, Costa Brava Tour: Kayak, Snorkel, Cliff Jump & lunch Small Group. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Barcelona?

+

May, June, September and October. Sagrada Família light is best mid-morning. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Barcelona?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
