    Book a Class!!!!

What a wonderful cooking class experience. We met Chef Patty at the agreed upon location and a wonderful afternoon started immediately. After a short stroll through the local market we arrived at the school ready to immerse ourselves in the local art of cooking! The Udomsuk school is relatively new and is easy to miss in the midst of all the other cooking classes offered in Bangkok. Don't scroll by though. Book a class!!! You will have a great experience in a local neighborhood at a wonderful new school.

Response from the operator: Thank you once again for visiting Udomsuk Cooking Class. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed the Thai cooking experience with Chef Patty. We will continue to do our best to provide each of our guests with the authentic taste of Thailand using fresh ingredients. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you again in the future. Stay healthy and take care.

A great activity and brilliant value for money.

This was incredible value for money! We had a tour of the market with foods to try and they really looked after us. Then we went to the cooking school which is very modern and in perfect condition. We cooked 4 dishes and got to each one before cooking the next one. Our chef, Chef Pon who has been on Thai Masterchef was so lovely and very talented. Everyone there was really friendly and I would recommend this as a great activity to do in Bangkok. It’s very near Udonsuk Skytrain Station too.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for recommending Udomsuk Cooking Class. We will continue to do our best to provide the best service in a clean and hygienic environment. We hope to see you again soon.

Best thing to do in Bangkok!

This was a great experience! Book it! It was the best and most fun thing my friends and I did in Bangkok. Chef Pon was so friendly and engaging. He taught us about the food, dishes, while teaching us how to cook. He has expert cooking experience too. The flavors were stronger and finer than found in the States. The cooking school is so clean and has photo opportunity. The class is for all cooking levels, and i feel like i could cook these at home. They also offer the recipes at the end of the class. We made Thai tea, Tom Yum soup, Pork Kaprow, glass noodle salad, and Tubtim Krob. The pick up spot was easy to find under the subway stop. We started the experience with a walk through a market which was helpful to see and bookmark for later.

Response from the operator: We’re so happy to hear that you had a wonderful time with Udomsuk Cooking Class. It’s our pleasure to be part of your memorable experience. We’ll continue to do our best to create happiness and great memories for all our guests.

Bangkok Udomsuk Thai Cooking Class with Local Market Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Bangkok.

How much does Bangkok Udomsuk Thai Cooking Class with Local Market Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $40 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Bangkok usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Bangkok Udomsuk Thai Cooking Class with Local Market Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Bangkok is not rushed.

Is Bangkok Udomsuk Thai Cooking Class with Local Market Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Bangkok, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Bangkok Udomsuk Thai Cooking Class with Local Market Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Bangkok Udomsuk Thai Cooking Class with Local Market Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Bangkok Udomsuk Thai Cooking Class with Local Market Tour?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Bangkok can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Bangkok and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Bangkok Udomsuk Thai Cooking Class with Local Market Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Bangkok within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Bangkok?

    +

On Outty we rank every Bangkok experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Bangkok Backstreets Food Tour with 15+ Tastings, Old Siam Bangkok Food Tour with 15+ Tastings, Tingly Thai Cooking Class with Morning Market Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Bangkok?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Bangkok?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
