Great tour with Poppy
The tour itself was awesome. Poppy was a great guide. However, it was very confusing. The whole group of about 20 booked through Viator and there were at least 3 different ending times. We were booked at 7:30 for an 8 hour tour which would have gotten us back about 3:30 since we had another tour that night. Some people had a tour that was scheduled from 8-4 and another large group had a tour that said it would last 10 hours. There was a lot of controversy because some wanted to stay and eat and we needed to get back. I am not sure why there were different time durations for the same tour, but I hope you can fix this for others who have time constraints. We were told that we should have notified the tour operator before the tour started, but it didn't cross our minds since we should have been back around 3:30. As it was, we got back about 5PM and barely made our evening tour that left at 5:30. Other than that issue, the tour was amazing and Poppy was a great guide and resource.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback and kind words about our guide. Regarding the timing, please pay closer attention to the “Additional Information” section of the tour description, which clearly states that the pickup time and tour start time may vary and may be modified according to the ship’s arrival time. The total tour duration was delivered as promised, as well as the time spent at each site. For any future bookings with Viator, we strongly recommend reviewing the tour description and itinerary carefully to ensure the activity meets your expectations. Safe travels!

Verify how long the tour lasts for
This rating is for the wrong information listed on Viator and not the tour itself. The tour and especially the guide Poppy should recieve 5 stars. She went over and above to accommodate. My issuse is that there were several listing on Viator that combined into one tour, each with a different time frame. I had a 0730 start and 8 hour tour another had 0800 start with 8 hour tour and others showed tour lasting 8-10 hours. I expected the tour to be over in the time listed when I booked and had planned another activity after that to find out the tour was going to last much longer than my schedule said and would miss the activity afterwards that was already paid for. There were discussions in the group and the guide Poppy did everything she could to accommodate everyone. Verify the timing if you book this tour and avoid the troubles it caused my group.

A worthwhile trip enjoying the culture and history.
Make sure you have tops that cover the top of your arms, down to the elbows. Lots of water. Sun cream in the summer. Change in Baht, for tips and meal. Our meal was 500 baht for 2. The venues were very close to each other, so not too much walking. You do need to take shoes off many times. Getting on and off the boat was tricky due to the current and waves. Good fun.

Beautiful Bangkok
Outstanding value with excellent guide. Poppy was excellent and maneuvered us efficiently through the crowds. She guided us with humor and experience. Definitely one of the best guides ever! Great value!

A lot in a short amount of time
Our guide Mr Dan was very knowledgeable and passionate about temples. This tour is for those who really want to see a lot of temples in a day. There is little time for shopping if that's what you're expecting. For those of you who want down time to roam on your own, you may want to book the Bangkok on your own tour. I truly enjoyed this tour and glad I did this instead of on my own as I wouldn't have forced myself to visit all these amazing temples . The Canal ride was a welcome break from walking and gave a good look into the living conditions of the locals.

Why this scores 53
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Bangkok Tour from Laem Chabang Port including Canal Cruise: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Pattaya.
How much does Bangkok Tour from Laem Chabang Port including Canal Cruise cost?
+
Prices start at $89 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Pattaya usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Bangkok Tour from Laem Chabang Port including Canal Cruise take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Pattaya is not rushed.
Is Bangkok Tour from Laem Chabang Port including Canal Cruise worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 53 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.6/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Pattaya, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Bangkok Tour from Laem Chabang Port including Canal Cruise?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Bangkok Tour from Laem Chabang Port including Canal Cruise suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Bangkok Tour from Laem Chabang Port including Canal Cruise?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Pattaya can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Pattaya and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Bangkok Tour from Laem Chabang Port including Canal Cruise start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Pattaya within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Pattaya?
+
On Outty we rank every Pattaya experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Pattaya Full-Day 3 Tropical Island tour Snorkeling Cruise Buffet, Elephant Jungle Sanctuary: Half Day Morning Program, Beginner Rider Tour Pattaya 28km ATV or Buggy Adventure. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Pattaya?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Pattaya?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
