About this experience

Bangkok Paradise tour offers a full-day bicycle adventure that takes you to an undiscovered and unseen part of Bangkok. We start at Rama 3 Road, where you'll select the bicycle & receive instructions. After 2 km of cycling, you'll arrive at the local fresh market, where you'll see an array of goods, ranging from pig heads to beautiful flowers. Continuing on, you'll cycle through small communities until you reach a "Golden Temple," where you'll make a stop and have the opportunity to explore its remarkable interior and learn more about its significance. The journey continues along canals, offering serene views of the lush green surroundings, until you reach the boat-shop. Here, you'll select a canoe/kayak, for the next level of your adventure. Kayaking the canals of Bangkok adds a unique element to the trip. The area is home to a diverse range of animals, including at least 60 species of birds. If you're lucky and observant, you may spot kingfisher birds and even a Brahminy Kite.

What you'll see and do

  1. At our office/lounge we give a short briefing about the tour what to do and not to do before getting started. The Bangkok Paradise tour has many highlights as you can see in the tour-description. Unfortunately only "well known landmarks" can be filled out as "attraction" on this site. Wat Bangkok and or Phrapadaeng Market, you can't find as an attraction. This proves how "off the beaten path" this tour actually is. If you like riding a bicycle and would like to go where on few have been before, sign up for this adventure and let us surprise you.

  2. Bhumibol Bridge (Industrial Ring Road Bridge)

The Bhumibol Bridge, also known as the Industrial Ring Road Bridge is part of the 13 km long Industrial Ring Road connecting southern Bangkok with Samut Prakan Province. The bridge crosses the Chao Phraya River twice, with two striking cable-stayed spans of lengths of 702 m and 582 m supported by two diamond-shaped pylons 173 m and 164 m high. Where the two spans meet, another road rises to join them at a free-flowing interchange suspended 50 metres above the ground. The bridge opened for traffic on 20 September 2006, before the official opening date of 5 December 2006. It is part of the Bangkok Industrial Ring Road, a royal scheme initiated by King Bhumibol Adulyadej that aimed to solve traffic problems within Bangkok and surrounding areas, especially the industrial area around Khlong Toei Port, southern Bangkok, and Samut Prakan Province. According to tradition, all bridges over the Chao Phraya in Bangkok are named after a member of the royal family. In October 2009, it was announced that both bridges would be named after King Bhumibol Adulyadej, with the northern bridge officially named "Bhumibol 1 Bridge" and the southern bridge "Bhumibol 2 Bridge". The unofficial name "Mega Bridge" was also widely used.

Great day, good bikes and good service

We did the day tour including kayak because we’ve done some tours with other providers a few years ago. This was perfectly organised. Good bikes, nice and good English speaking guide. Also the kayak location was nice. My daughter also made some stone paintings. Lunch was included which was at a nice restaurant. Summarised it was a perfect day. You could not made me more in my Element

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this wonderful review! We are absolutely thrilled to hear that your day tour, including the kayaking, was such a perfect experience. It's fantastic to know that you appreciated the **perfect organization**, the **good bikes**, and the knowledge of our **English-speaking guide**. A Different Perspective

We have been arranging tours in Thailand for 14 years. Our guests had been biking in Europe and wanted this in Thailand so we booked with Thailand Biking after talking with the owner. Outstanding experience! A slice of Bangkok we had never seen. Very organized and safe. This will be a regular part of our tours going forward. Highly recommended.

Response from the operator: Dear Guest, Thank you so much for your incredible review! We’re honored to have been part of your 14 years of arranging tours in Thailand, and we’re thrilled to hear that your guests had such a great experience with us. It’s wonderful that our biking tour allowed you to discover a side of Bangkok you hadn’t seen before, and we’re glad to know you found it both organized and safe. We’re excited to hear that you plan to include our tours in your future itineraries—it means a lot to us! Thank you for your recommendation, and we look forward to welcoming you and your guests again soon. Best regards,

Amazing!

I was hoping for a tour that got out into the countryside a bit beyond the hustle of Bangkok proper. This is precisely what I wanted. The guide, Bazz was super friendly and full of great information. The food stop was delicious and the kayak ride was a nice change of pace. I could not recommend this tour more!!!

Response from the operator: Dear Dan, Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re thrilled to hear that the tour was exactly what you were hoping for, offering a peaceful escape from the hustle of Bangkok. It’s great to know that Bazz’s friendly and informative approach added to your experience. We’re also glad you enjoyed the food stop and the kayak ride—those moments are always a favorite part of the tour! Your high recommendation means a lot to us, and we’re excited to welcome you on another adventure in the future. Best regards,

Thai Ways and Biking Superb

I loved the tour. From the Phrapadeang Market to Temple Wat Luang Pho Ophasi to the long tail boat ride through the endless canals-everything was the Thai way of life. Thank you to the guide, Best, who took my safety and my love of biking to heart as well as showing me the Thai culture. Thank you Andre for having such a wonderful company: Thailand Biking.

Bangkok Tour by Boat and Bike: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Bangkok.

How much does Bangkok Tour by Boat and Bike cost?

+

Prices start at $1845 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Bangkok usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Bangkok Tour by Boat and Bike take?

+

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Bangkok is not rushed.

Is Bangkok Tour by Boat and Bike worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 26 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Bangkok, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Bangkok Tour by Boat and Bike?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Bangkok Tour by Boat and Bike suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Bangkok Tour by Boat and Bike?

+

Around 9 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Bangkok can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Bangkok and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Bangkok Tour by Boat and Bike start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Bangkok within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Bangkok?

+

On Outty we rank every Bangkok experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Bangkok Backstreets Food Tour with 15+ Tastings, Old Siam Bangkok Food Tour with 15+ Tastings, Tingly Thai Cooking Class with Morning Market Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Bangkok?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Bangkok?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
