Opulence Indeed – A Wonderful Bangkok Dinner Cruise
We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience, from the easy check-in at Pier 1, through boarding, and throughout the cruise itself. The check-in point was easy to find, and we were attended to immediately. Our tickets were issued and everything was clearly explained. We had booked upper-deck seating, and it was a pleasant surprise to also be allocated an indoor table in case of rain or if we simply wanted to move inside. As it was such a lovely evening in Bangkok, we chose to stay on the upper deck. Boarding at Pier 2 was equally well organised, with staff on hand to make sure everyone got onto the correct boat. Once the boat arrived, boarding was quick and efficient, with plenty of staff available to escort guests to their tables. A member of the waiting staff came over almost immediately to explain where the various food options were located and to take our drink orders. The buffet was fully stocked and ready to enjoy even before the boat got underway. There was an excellent variety of seafood, as well as a good selection of Thai and Western dishes. The food we tried was consistently of excellent quality, and the Japanese sushi bar was particularly good. The service throughout the evening was also excellent. Used plates were cleared almost immediately whenever we left the table to get more food. Water glasses were regularly refilled without us having to ask, and when our paid drinks were empty, we were politely asked whether we wanted another. If we said no, that was respected, there was no constant pressure to order more, which was a really nice touch. The entertainment was on the upper deck and was very enjoyable, inclusive and continuous throughout the cruise. We passed plenty of other dinner cruise boats along the river, but we certainly felt that we had some of the best music and atmosphere! Of course, the views are one of the highlights. Seeing Bangkok from the river is a fantastic experience and gives you a completely different perspective of the city. Overall, we thought the Opulence Seafood Buffet Dinner Cruise was well worth the money. There was plenty of excellent food, drinks (admittedly at an additional cost), great entertainment, attentive service and, of course, spectacular views along the Chao Phraya River. Highly recommended for a fun and enjoyable evening in Bangkok!

Bangkok Opulence Chao Phraya River Dinner Cruise from ICONSIAM: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Bangkok.
How much does Bangkok Opulence Chao Phraya River Dinner Cruise from ICONSIAM cost?
+
Prices start at $50 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Bangkok usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Bangkok Opulence Chao Phraya River Dinner Cruise from ICONSIAM take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Bangkok is not rushed.
Is Bangkok Opulence Chao Phraya River Dinner Cruise from ICONSIAM worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.1/5 across 160 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Bangkok, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Bangkok Opulence Chao Phraya River Dinner Cruise from ICONSIAM?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Bangkok Opulence Chao Phraya River Dinner Cruise from ICONSIAM suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Bangkok Opulence Chao Phraya River Dinner Cruise from ICONSIAM?
+
Around 56 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Bangkok can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Bangkok and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Bangkok Opulence Chao Phraya River Dinner Cruise from ICONSIAM start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Bangkok within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Bangkok?
+
On Outty we rank every Bangkok experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Bangkok Backstreets Food Tour with 15+ Tastings, Old Siam Bangkok Food Tour with 15+ Tastings, Tingly Thai Cooking Class with Morning Market Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Bangkok?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Bangkok?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in Bangkok Opulence Chao Phraya River Dinner Cruise from ICONSIAM?
+
Included: One glass of Welcome Drink, Coffee and Tea, Water; International seafood buffet; Two hour river cruise; and Live music entertainment. Not included: Other Beverages; Personal expenses; and Gratuities. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.
