Stunning in every respect
We have just returned (last night) from a truly fantastic experience on the Manohara river cruise and I wanted to share the experience. The river boat is beautiful and has (about) 10 or so tables meaning that there can only be a maximum of about 20-30 people; there were about 15 or so on our 8.30pm dinner. Staff were charming, friendly and super-attentive without being overpowering. The dinner was a 7 course set menu of Thai cuisine and each course was served on porcelain with style and panache. The food was delicious and the portions were perfect in that you were able to appreciate each course without feeling over-full. We had the “free flow” wine/beer option which was a great choice; very good quality wine served generously. The setting is stunning and we were lucky in that the weather was perfect. All in all we would recommend this cruise without hesitation. One hint if, like us, you are staying in central Bangkok (we were at the Shangri la) then allow a decent time for the taxi as the traffic was very busy.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for taking the time to share your fantastic experience. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed the intimate setting, attentive service, and that the beautiful surroundings made your evening even more memorable. We also appreciate your helpful tip about allowing extra time for travel from central Bangkok, which will be useful for future guests. Your recommendation means a great deal to us, and we look forward to welcoming you back for another exceptional cruise in the future. Best Regards, Tawan Oh-Hoo Team

Sorry about the change in start time.
The experience, the food, was satisfying, but both Anantara's pick-up and drop-off boat and boarding start were an hour late. Both the reservation and voucher were at 17:00, but it started at 18:00. This will be the third time that Manohla has My schedule went awry.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to hear that you were satisfied with the experience and the food. We sincerely apologize for the delay shuttle boat and the change in schedule. We will make sure to address this issue to prevent any future delays. We truly value your feedback and will work hard to improve the timing and organization of our services. We hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a smoother experience next time. Best Regards, Tawan Oh-Hoo Team

Why this scores 40
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Bangkok Manohra Cruise Sunset Dining on Chao Phraya River: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Bangkok.
How much does Bangkok Manohra Cruise Sunset Dining on Chao Phraya River cost?
+
Prices start at $4000 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Bangkok usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Bangkok Manohra Cruise Sunset Dining on Chao Phraya River take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Bangkok is not rushed.
Is Bangkok Manohra Cruise Sunset Dining on Chao Phraya River worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 40 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable food & drink in Bangkok, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Bangkok Manohra Cruise Sunset Dining on Chao Phraya River?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Bangkok Manohra Cruise Sunset Dining on Chao Phraya River suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Bangkok Manohra Cruise Sunset Dining on Chao Phraya River?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Bangkok can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Bangkok and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Bangkok Manohra Cruise Sunset Dining on Chao Phraya River start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Bangkok within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Bangkok?
+
On Outty we rank every Bangkok experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Bangkok Backstreets Food Tour with 15+ Tastings, Old Siam Bangkok Food Tour with 15+ Tastings, Tingly Thai Cooking Class with Morning Market Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Bangkok?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Bangkok?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
